How many bats in a bag
There are 8 not 10 batts per bag. It says so right on the bag.
There are 10 batt pieces in a bag. The sq. ft. is 97.92 sq. ft. per bag.
How much insolation would I need for a 22 by 19 insolation
22X19 is 418 sq. ft. If you have windows, doors, please exclude that sq. ft. from this calculation. If you have 418 sq. ft. you will need 6 bags. R15K15X93 has 77.50 sq. ft. per bags (418/77.50 =5.394 and you would need to round up to 6 bags. Hope this is helpful.
Can I use this inside a pumphouse? It’s a small maybe 3’ x 3’ x 3’ pumphouse. And would I install with the facing in towards the pump as opposed to out towards the walls and ceiling?
You would need to install unfaced, if you are going to leave the insulation exposed. Unfaced is fire rated and Kraft faced is not fire rated and would require drywall covering the material.
Can this be used in within a 2x4 truss that has an open attic?

Knauf Insulation does not have any formaldehyde in our products and we there are no Red Listed chemicals in our products. That being said, everyone has different sensitivities, so we recommend following the guidelines of wearing a long sleeve shirt, gloves and goggles to install insulation.
Can this be used in the ceiling of a shed/workshop and then covered with 1/8” plywood?
