Worst Purchase Ever. Not worth $26.00 when they look sickly
Plants had spotted leaves yellow/brown/ holes from insects. Returned in store. Not worth $26.00 This review has been rejected at least 5 times by home depot. They are stating that this was a shipping issue. Plants don't get holes/spotted leaves/yellow/brown leaves in that short of a time.

I needed to send a gift to a wedding that I couldn't attend so ordered through Home Depot. I chose a red rose plant from Baucoms Nursery. The plant was delivered in good healthy condition. It is the chosen color and the bush has good shape. It is small (2 gal) so isn't very showy right now (one bloom on plant). It was planted in a place of honor and will grow to bloom man times in the future.

I've always had a love-hate relationship with roses, and learned the hard way how difficult they can be to grow. The lovely tea roses that highlight catalogues from a number of growers require a lot of attention, and are highly susceptible to disease. It had been years since I planted my last rose bushes, in spite of my love for them, but then I read an article on hardy, easy care roses and decided to give them another try. The top recommendation was for the original Knock Out rose, but it seemed rather plain. However, when I saw this new variety, a Knock Out Double Rose Plant, I decided to give it a try. The plants arrived in individual boxes, in a pot vary similar to the one pictured on the site. Mine had buds rather than blooms, but the plants appeared to be healthy and well-packaged. They had healthy root systems and took very nicely to planting. This is my first time planting roses in containers, as I now live in a high-rise building. They're in individual, large planters with plenty of room to grow and with superb drainage and ample sunshine, both of which are essential for roses. So far, both plants are doing quite well and I look forward to years of beautiful blooms.

Red Roses are pink
Would have been nicer had I received what I ordered. I ordered RED roses. Received pink. They look like teacup roses versus knock out roses. Very disappointed...

The rse came in a pot with three little blooms. I figured the blooms would die off upon planting but they lasted for almost a week and now the bush has generated new buds. I am excited about this bush and am using it to fill in a space where another bush (non-rose) had died. I have other knock-pout roses in this same area and they have been there for a long time. These roses do well through the winters here in Northeast Georgia and recommend them highly. The delivery was very quick and the rose bush was packaged well.

These rose bushes were the healthiest plants I have ever bought. They were full of blooms within two weeks of planting. They never even wilted when planted. My wife and I love them.

Healthy looking, well packaged.
They are both healthy looking with nice buds. Well packaged. The shipper laid the box on the side even though it said to keep upright and labeled as a plant and the box was crushed on one side and I can’t even tell which plant came from that box. They had it protected decently.
