Not as advertised
I bought this specifically looking for a Thermoelectric compact fridge. Instead, i received a compressor 1.6L. Same exact model number BC-46SS, so it appears that perhaps the Home Depot site has incorrect info,

Very nice.
It is perfect for our little camper. I bought this to replace a non working 3 way fridge. It fit nicely in the space with room to breathe properly for heat dissipation. The little freezer works great. It is extremely quiet which is very important in a small space.. The only down side is the lack of light inside. We will see how it handles traveling a few times a year.

cool n quiet
I bought this unit for use in a bed room, specific selling point was the lack of a compressor, it chills to a nice comfortable coldnes without noise or frost. I'd recommend. This to anyone who hates noisy appliances

Great solution for my need
The unit was exactly what we needed. Mother moving into retirement home and we were able to use this unit in her room. Very very quiet. No need for ice and not having the freezer section gave extra space. Not having to defrost was a definite requirement. It gave us the most capacity and used the least amount of space. A great solution for our needs.

Good buy for the money.
Have had the fridge plugged in for a few weeks now and it certainly keeps things cold. The compressor is quiet, except for when it cycles on and off. You can hear a click, which can be sometimes be annoying.

Fridge for the Office
This fridge is small and quiet--perfect for the office. The inside layout is organized well and it's nice that the inside of the door isn't taken over by one of those annoying can dispensers. For a person who doesn't drink canned drinks, this is the perfect little fridge.
