  • Moveable edge guide and measuring scales for precise positioning
  • Adjustable drill guides ensure straight holes
  • Lightweight and durable
The Kreg Cabinet Hardware Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet knobs and pulls. The moveable edge guide and measuring scales make it easy to position knobs precisely, while adjustable drill guides ensure straight holes for perfect knob and pull positioning every time. Perfect for new construction and for refreshing entire rooms. Whether you are updating your cabinets or building a project from scratch, adding hardware like knobs and pulls is often 1 of the final steps and 1 of the most intimidating. The Cabinet Hardware Jig features moveable, hardened-steel drill guides that lock in place to align with common hole-spacing measurements for cabinet knobs and pulls. This allows you to confidently drill straight, accurately positioned holes. A moveable edge guide and built-in measuring scales (in imperial and metric) ensure that those holes will be positioned where you want it every time, which means you can drill as many holes as you need without the uncertainty and potential mistakes that can come with measuring and marking everyone. The Cabinet Hardware Jig is designed to be intuitive for beginners to use, but robust enough for professionals. All you need is a drill and a 3/16 in. bit and the ability to set the jig to match your hardware and the position where you want it to go. NOTE: 3/16 in. (5 mm) drill bit required - does not come included.
  • Install knobs and pulls with easy, repeatable accuracy
  • Adjustable guides for accurate whole placement
  • Built-in measuring scales for repeatable results
  • Versatile for mounting single and multi-hole knobs
  • Adjustable edge guide for easy positioning
  • Strong, lightweight materials for easy handling

Questions & Answers

Do I need to buy the clamp seperate to install cabinet door pulls!

Asked by: Fiz
You can use any clamp, but the Kreg clamp is highly recommended since it is a good quality tool. But you can probably get around it with another clamp. Just be careful not to mar the surface of your door (the Kreg will not do this as the clamp face is a large flat circle).

Asked by: Dan
It sounds like your pull is 128mm. The jig has standard size settings in metric as well as inches. So should work easily.

Customer Reviews

Cabinet Hardware Jig is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality plastic buckles when clamping Purchased this product to install my new handles on my new cabinets. The design, ease of use, and instructions are all where you would expect them to be if this task is something you’re up to doing yourself. Unfortunately, the quality of plastic the manufacturer uses causes the jig to flex when being clamped to the front of a door or drawer. I’ve used it 3 times and each time this has skewed the location of the hole I was drilling. Each time resulted in me holding back on tightening one or two degrees from the prior application. Two metal L sections next to the guide locations where your clamps should go would entirely change the performance of this jig and result in a much better product. I do not recommend this product.

I recently installed pulls in our kitchen and the first thing I bought to accomplish this task was this Kreg Jig. This jig is super easy to setup with clear instructions on how to assemble the knobs and drill holes. Just make sure this jig is flush against the edge of the cabinet/drawer side that you are referencing off of and you will get exact hole placement every time you use it. It feels sturdy and durable in your hand and really feels like a quality tool. The only drawback on this jig is that it is limited to 5" as a maximum pull length. I was installing some that were longer than this, so I had to drill the first hole and then measure up and mark a line where the center of the next hole should be, and then measure down to where the center line on this jig's center-view area would be and then place that line in that view area. After re-confirming my other mark was in the drill hole area, I drilled my second hole. I know this sounds confusing, but it just shows you another way to use this jig to achieve a greater than 5" installation. One more thing this jig does, is by clamping it to the drawer/cabinet door, you prevent any tearout on the front/face of the drawer/cabinet door. If you need to remove this jig to drill a larger hole after the initial hole, make sure you use a scrap piece of wood to hold against the drawer/cabinet door face to prevent tearout from your drill bit (voice of experience here haha). Overall, I highly recommend this jig! It will make your next hardware installation a breeze!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Kreg Brand, Cabinet Hardware Jig is a medium quality product to align the installation of cab... The Kreg Brand, Cabinet Hardware Jig is a medium quality product to align the installation of cabinet knobs and pulls. The jig is made of light weight plastic and has a somewhat flimsy feel to it. Yet it has sufficient strength to accomplish its intended purpose. Of the features I like in this jig, one is the adjustable stop that allows the positioning on drawers or doors to be accurate and repeatable from drawer-to-drawer and door-to-door. The adjustable plastic drill guides have metal inserts so the drill bit does not wear or damage the plastic and there are notches to hold the drill guides in position once tightened in place. The positive drill guide locating notches are important to keep them from moving around during use. I found the greatest distance this jig will adjust from the drawer or door edge is 5.5-inches. If more adjustment then 5.5-inch is needed, this jig might not work well for you. If purchasing this Kreg jig, I recommend also purchasing the 3/16-inch DeWlat Brand, “Brad Point Drill Bit” DW1704 from Home Depot. That drill bit fits the Kreg drill guides perfectly and the brad point of the bit will start a clean hole in your wood drawer or cabinet door face without tear out or chipping. Also, when using the Kreg jig, it is not absolutely necessary to drill completely though the drawer or door face. It is possible to drill partially into the wood and remove the jig, finishing the blind holes all the way through once the jig is removed. Using this technique, I found it unnecessary to clamp the jig each time it was used, speeding up the process.

Only wish they would use/build with more metal components. As I use it, I cringe when I watch the guides start to move. I keep checking to make sure it's ok and keep going. The center location marks are easy to discern. I also used a Kreg hand clamp to hold it in place. It's a good idea, just be cautious as it is just plastic.
