The Kreg Cabinet Hardware Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet knobs and pulls. The moveable edge guide and measuring scales make it easy to position knobs precisely, while adjustable drill guides ensure straight holes for perfect knob and pull positioning every time. Perfect for new construction and for refreshing entire rooms. Whether you are updating your cabinets or building a project from scratch, adding hardware like knobs and pulls is often 1 of the final steps and 1 of the most intimidating. The Cabinet Hardware Jig features moveable, hardened-steel drill guides that lock in place to align with common hole-spacing measurements for cabinet knobs and pulls. This allows you to confidently drill straight, accurately positioned holes. A moveable edge guide and built-in measuring scales (in imperial and metric) ensure that those holes will be positioned where you want it every time, which means you can drill as many holes as you need without the uncertainty and potential mistakes that can come with measuring and marking everyone. The Cabinet Hardware Jig is designed to be intuitive for beginners to use, but robust enough for professionals. All you need is a drill and a 3/16 in. bit and the ability to set the jig to match your hardware and the position where you want it to go. NOTE: 3/16 in. (5 mm) drill bit required - does not come included.
Install knobs and pulls with easy, repeatable accuracy
Adjustable guides for accurate whole placement
Built-in measuring scales for repeatable results
Versatile for mounting single and multi-hole knobs
A: Not sure what the question is but it will work for 3 3/4” pulls.

A: Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, we do not have a setting on the jig for 3 3/4" center to center spacing. However, the drill guides can still be locked in the 3 3/4" position.

Q:Would this jig work on a drawer that is 9” tall

Answer This Question
A: Maximum distance between cabinet pull handle screw holes is 5-inches. The cabinet or drawer pull length makes no difference, only the spacing between the screws that hold the pull to the cabinet or drawer face matter and cannot exceed 5-inches unless willing to make manual measurements as others have in the case of longer pulls. If trying to center jig top to bottom on a deep drawer face, 10-inches, 12-inches, 18-inches or more, measure, square the jig, and securely clamp it in place as far down as necessary if the depth stops do not allow the jig to go as low as needed. That is what I did. If the built-in depth stops are a must, another product may be more suitable. I only needed the spacing for the pull screw holes to be 100-percent accurate so the screws holes drilled in the cabinet face matched the pull thread spacing. I am currently out of town and not able to measure the maximum depth adjustment of this affordable jig.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes. This will work with a drawer that is 9". You will be able to set the edge stop at 4.5 and be centered in that drawer up and down.

This tool jig makes drilling cabinet door handle or know holes quick and easy. Align it, clamp it, drill it. Consistent outcomes. Highly recommend if you’re a diy person as the price is reasonable and quality good. Pros may need a more robustly constructed jig for daily use.

IT NEEDS TO BE BIGGER! This unit is fine for small drawers less than 5" high, but anything bigger & you have to build a jig like a 1"x 3/4" X 5" L lip to place against this unit (see pic below). Would it really be that much more expensive to make this jig a few inches bigger Kreg?... Or maybe have a piece to add onto it for larger drawers, doors and handles?
It is a huge time saver and all 44 holes in one kitchen and another 36 holes in the 2nd kitchen looked great and took very little time to drill, and super accurate, which is important with some of todays thin sleek handles. Tip - Put a block of scrap wood behind it before you drill to prevent tear-out. I also bought their self adjusting face clamp Model# KHC6 (the longer 6" one, also sold at HD) which made it nice to clamp the jig to the door (see pic) Just be careful that 1. it's not clamping too tight, as the back of the jig will leave marks on the face of the door & 2. Check before you drill that the jig didn't move on you while clamping (happens a lot). For me it was faster if one person held the jig tight while the other put the clamp on. I think the back of the jig should have some kind of rubber backing to solve both the slipping issue and prevent it from marking the door & drawer fronts. The jig worked better than expected. We drilled and mounted 54 knobs in 51 cabinet doors and drawers ( in 5 different sizes ) in less than 2 1/2 hours. Without the jig it would have taken days.

Easy to assemble. Only wish they would use/build with more metal components. As I use it, I cringe when I watch the guides start to move. I keep checking to make sure it's ok and keep going.
The center location marks are easy to discern. I also used a Kreg hand clamp to hold it in place. It's a good idea, just be cautious as it is just plastic.

This cabinet hardware jig is designed perfectly. It takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet hardware. It’s simple to use just find the screw hole dimensions on you hardware translate that to your jig, then clamp and drill your holes. Great thing about this jig is it comes with a depth stop so if your upgrading your kitchen, bathrooms measure once and you will have the perfect position every time. This jig is perfect for pros or you weekend warrior like me. I did sliding barn doors in my home and this jig came in handy. The hardware is installed straight and in the perfect location. The best investment I made.

Won’t work for most handles used today.
Jig fits a lot of old school handles. Will not work with most modern handles as they are wider and drawer fronts are taller. Need to make an undated version
