Does it come with dust collection part?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "dust collection part". The only thing that it comes with besides what you see in the stock picture is 5 pocket hole plugs. I attached a picture of the back of the tool, as that looks like you might be able to cradle a vacuum hose somehow, but I haven't tried to confirm that's possible.

This rebate is now expired. Home Depot nor Kreg will honor this rebate although both Home Depot and Kreg continue to advertise the rebate. 1/31/20 expired.

Does this kit come with a case?

No, no case. It would definitely be nice if there was at minimum a small case of some sort for the accessories (drill bit, mobile clamp, etc.).

Dust collection? For what?

This does accumulate a lot of sawdust, especially when drilling multiple holes. I don't have the dust collection adapter, but after seeing the mess it made I will probably buy the adapter. It just saves time during cleanup.

How long does the rebate promotion last?

Kregs website just states "while supplies last" so not exactly sure.

Has this item been discontinued or will it be back in stock shortly?

Answer

These items still exist and just are out of stock in some places. I cannot give a specific time as to when they will be back in stock. My best speculation is towards the end of September to the middle of October. It could possibly be sooner. You can also visit the Kreg website periodically. Thanks!

I already had the Kreg® Pocket-Hole Jig 320, it is a good product and works well.. However I believed the Kreg K4 system would be easier and quicker. Turns out this perspective was (is) 100% correct. The K4 system is much easier to use especially when making several pocket holes. Additionally with the K4 can use the "shop vac" attachment (made by Kreg) for essentially sawdust free pocket holes. Home Depot offered this kit with free shipping and the "extras" for the same price as the "normal" K4 kit.. that "sale" convinced me to pull the trigger and buy this kit. The base is 1" thick, therefore when I drilled large boards I had to support them. This was easy for me as I have "scrap" 3/4" and 1/4" lying around. However, I made a "carry all" with 2 drawers to take my Kreg K4 and other Kreg stuff with me. The drawers unfold to support the work @ the same height as the K4 jig. Other perspectives: The handle for clamping the work is on the backside, I believe the K5 has the handle on the front.. I did not opt for the additional expense of the K5, even though the front handle seems more convenient. The K4 unit has a slot on the backside, supposedly to hold the allen wrench, this slot is too loose to hold the allen wrench reliably. I have a pocket hole jig (not Kreg) from several years back, it can work, however I use the Kreg because it is easier (better instructions and intuitive) and good quality, while the other brand sits in a drawer.. As I stated earlier, the K4 base sits 1" off the bench... I was fortunate to have both 3/4" and 1/4" scraps lying around to support large work. I think most folks have 3/4" lying around, I wonder why did Kreg chose 1" (who has 1" thick scraps laying around?) That said there are other brands that are fine pocket hole systems. I like how easy to use this Kreg K4 is. In summary: Would I buy it again? YES Do I use it? YES

First time I used it was to build a toddler tower, granddaughter has used it to help in kitchen and put stickers on French door glass. Realized I need to use clamps to keep wood from shifting when screwing together. Overall very satisfied.

Got this package deal as a Christmas gift. I have used an early "clamp - on" Kreg pocket hole jig for years with great success. Mounted the new jig on a scrap 3' length of plywood and added the accessory stop. Made supports jig height for long pieces. I used it the first time in making a large (48" x 27") oak coffee table. It is so much easier and flexible that the old jig i wish I hag gotten it long ago. Can't say enough good about it !

The Kreg K4 Pocket-Hole System works exactly as advertised. This has saved me a tremendous amount of time. It's very easy to use. I have been wanting this product for a long time, but didn't want to spend the money. When you had a package deal with the $15.00 rebate, I jumped on it and I'm so happy that I did. Great tool!! The face clamp holds it in place very securely. I have not used the R3 Drill Guide yet. And of course, I have already used up all of the screws. I love woodworking!

Great tool and extremely versatile for all kinds of projects weather indoors or outdoors. Easy to use while providing the need strength at joints and allowing a hidden fastener approach to your project. I used the "blue coated" exterior screws for this redwood planter.
