only worked 1 month
Had this beautiful Tree in my yard for 1 month last Christmas and then left assembled and carried gently in to my basement storage at the end of Christmas season. Just brought it back out 11/27 and it did not work when plugged in. If it had any durability and lasted 5 or more seasons, i would have left a 5 star review. However, seeing as this only lasted 1 month for $270. No way.

For the money, this isn't the highest quality item. It's easy to put together but between the steel and lights, it's difficult to understand why they're so expensive. Like several other reviewers, my tree went dead after 2 days and I was ready to take it back. As I was packing it back up, I noticed one of the wires below the star had been fried (black like when a lightbulb burns out). I cut out the short, reconnected the wires, wrapped it in electrical tape and viola! got it working again. The tree looks great so I gave it 4 stars but the quality of the item is probably a 2-3 stars.
