AnswerThe included mounting screws for the Downtown deadbolt are compatible with a 1 3/8” – 1 ¾” door thickness. For thicker doors, you would need to order the thick door kit model # 83022 separately.

The set is definitely beautiful. It was very easy to install and even easier to rekey. For the rekey ease alone I will continue to but kwikset products from now on. The set was also very heavy which was nice and i expected this set to be kinda flimsy. It definitely is not. The only reason for the 4 stars rather than the five is I can already tell the flat black color will not hold up well to key scratches. I dont really care as it is a door lock but for those that do that would be the only negative. Its solid, looks very nice and modern but still fits in with my mcm home, easy to install and easy to rekey.
