Asked by Ams June 28, 2020The 156HFL SQT 514 is a single-cylinder lever and cannot be converted to a double-cylinder. We recommend installing a double cylinder deadbolt with a passage lever. Does this go on both sides of the door? Interior and exterior? Or do you have to buy two.
Asked by Doorquestion1 February 13, 2020Both sides. The button to lock is in the circle of the interior side and is not round but a little bar. When you push to lock it, you can open the handle and it pops unlocked. Good because you don't get locked out. Had other handles that you could open the locked door and it stayed locked.
Would you need to cut a square hole in the door for this? Or would the standard door holes work?

Can you have 3 locks that use the same key that are set up at the store
Asked by Blue March 6, 2019Ordered 7 at once hoping they were keyed the same when they arrived by mail, BUT... the smart lock ability is fool proof. Took one key from one handle and used it for changing the locks on ALL door handles and dead bolts in no time at all... after they were already installed in the doors.
