Very well made pocket door lock set!
Just to be clear, this doesn’t really lock the door as there is no locking function. It simply provides and handle to open the door from the fully open and closed position.
In the open position (door is slid into the wall) you push the latch and it pops out to provide a handle. In the closed position you would just use the outside facing inset.
The finish and build are very sturdy and high quality as well as the mechanism.

I thought this would be a direct replacement for my existing bathroom pocket door hardware, but unfortunately it wasn't. That's my fault for getting the wrong thing, but I have future project I'll be able to use it for. In any case, the quality and finish are very nice. It's a simple four screw install that shouldn't take more than a minute or two to replace existing hardware. The mechanism is smooth as well. Installing on a new door would be similar to any other door...drill one hole into the door for the mechanism and another for the inner and outer handles. It's a nice product.

Kwikset Satin Nickel Square Hall/Closet Pocket Door Lock
We have an old closet sliding door which has an older pull and needs updating. The old pull is tarnished brass gold and scratched and really shows age. This new satin nickel pull plus a new coat of white paint on the door renews the look beautifully. This version is made to be used for passage, and is not a lock, I was confused at first because the title of this product includes the word lock. I love the fine tooling and subtle shine on this hardware. It is the least expensive of our remodeling project, but it has the biggest optical impact. We love it.
