Product Details

Premis is a touchscreen smart lock that works with Apple HomeKit. It is a 1-touch locking motorized deadbolt. You can enter your home with the convenience of keyless entry using Siri voice commands, the Premis App or with your personalized code. It features patented SecureScreen technology to prevent code detection from fingerprints on the touchscreen. Premis is easy to install, program and use and operates on 4 AA batteries. This single cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel.

A:  The Auto-Lock feature automatically re-locks your door 30 seconds after unlocking. This feature is off by default, but you may enable it inside the Premis app. You may also adjust the time delay (between 30 seconds and 5 minutes) within the app.

          Does not work
          Lock will not engage the dead bolt. Locking or unlocking. Currently I have work with customer service at Kwickset 3 times and came to the same conclusion that the lock has a manufacturing problem. Each time the claim to be sending out a new one and we are now at a month from purchase and nothing from Kwikset. Will be returning this item for homedepot to deal with Kwikset.
