I believe that it does. I have over 30 years of experience with Kwickset locks. This is the set I wanted. I’m very happy.
do you have a 7-pin kwitset kit
no
Kwikset does not make a 7 pin cylinder for any of their locks.
Short answer is "no". Officially there is no such thing as a # 7 Kwikset pin - BUT, the #8 pin for weiser locks is the same size a #7 Kwikset pin would be. This pin is available from several places online and is sometimes used by mortgage companies to further individualize the locks on rental properties.
do you have to have a certification to purchase a keying kit?
Kwikset does not require any certifications to purchase a keying kit.
no i work in an apartment complex we are all way rekeying locks
Anyone can purchase the kit. It doesn't come with a manual, but you can download one and print it out from Kwikset.
