A: I'm going to say that the stuffer needs to be mounted securely to something so you can turn the crank without the machine moving all over. I mounted mine to a piece of old laminate countertop. That gave me a smooth, easy to clean work surface. It is easy to clamp that countertop to a table or other surface to stuff sausage. The machine comes with 2 clamps to help hold it down.

A: Yes, in order to be properly installed, the unit must be secured to a flat surface, such as a table, counter or workbench.

A: It comes with clamps or holes to bolt it down. You do need to secure it to something so it will stay put while you turn the crank. I mounted mine to a large cutting board and then clamp that to the table.

A: Yes the stuffer comes with 1 plastic tube. The tube is probably about the size for making bratwurst or similar sized sausages. The box for mine shows only plastic tubes, so perhaps they have an outdated pic online.

This is a nice starter for stuffing sausage. All stainless except the stuffing tubes. If you never made sausage it is a fast pace process. You have to have everything ready to go because after you mix your meat and spices you have about 15 minutes to get it in the tube and the sausages made and trust me you need someone to crank it and someone to handle the casings and twisting of the sausages. If you have any problems call LEM there number is on the booklet they have a wonderful customer service.
