Terrible experience
We purchased it about more than 4 years ago. Since the beginning it was very noisy. Now compressor is not functioning. We love the door in door feature and it matched perfect with our all other LG appliances but refrigerator experience is terrible.

Excellent experience with my Fridge repair
I've had a fridge that i purchased in April of 2020. It had some issues with cooling, warranty coverage has handled it for free. That was amazingly quick and professional technician dispatching. Definitely i love LG products.

Door in Door Repair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own only LG appliances. I buy LG for quality. I was surprised to be asked to pay for the labor to install a compressor on a refrigerator where LG was aware of the problem. The Frig is about 7 years old at most. I am a mature person with a good knowledge of appliance parts and faults. Compressors just do not fail! I had told my wife, it is a real problem if the compressor is bad. I was not surprised to hear of the class action suit regarding this unit when I learned the compressor was bad. See my attached photos. I moved my in laws into a new home here. The frig and range were provided by the builder. I bought the same washer and dryer for them that I have for myself. LG should make this problem right by not requiring the owner is have to pay for the compressor labor for a Frig that is less than 10 years old. A compressor will last at least that long easily (5 years is not long enough). What does your R&D data show regarding the typical compressor life? Just my thoughts on how LG can improve in standing behind their product.

Cracked Shelf in door
Purchase this 09/20 compressor went out on 06/21 along with food spoilage. Shelving is thin plastic and have a crack inside the door. Too many problems for such a short time of owning this fridge. Second refrigerator we owned in less than 5

Compressor blew in less than two year old fridge/f
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in side-by-side fridge/Frezzer and less than 2 years later compressor went out and blew tge control panel which had an integrated fuse. Took 3 weeks and three service calls (2 control panels and one compressor) to get it running again plus @ $1500 in lost contents and another $500- $1200 in lost diabetic medication.

do not buy, compressor out @ year 4 & year 7,
I have bought this unit in July 2015, in April of 2019 compressor went out, LG service replaced defective part. April 2022 same issue.
