Peeling black stainless steel with VERY LITTLE USE
I was so excited when I first received this range. It was so much nicer than the one I had. The idea of having two ovens, one with a convection feature, cool.
Then the black stainless started to peel after 1 1/2yrs, and I’ve only used the bottom oven maybe 6-7 times! The top once a month. Unacceptable it started to peel with such little use. To make matters worse the all the black stainless steal LG appliances I purchased at the same time all started peeling. The dishwasher was first, then the bottom oven. Then the microwave and refrigerator. All around the corners of the handles.
Note - I am very neat and clean. I’ve only used your proof stainless steel cleaner. I’m not an ox and use these appliances gently. My friends are shocked as am I. Terrible. Peeling black stainless steel looks like chipped nail polish. It bothers me every day. Absolutely hate it.

Twin ovens and five burners

A couple issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection, EasyClean and Infrared Heating System on on 9/17/2016. I love the double oven. I have not noticed any issues with the actual oven. I notice the knobs do turn on the burner very easily. My biggest issue is the printed numbers on the knobs have worn off 3 times so far. I have only used the Weiman stove top cleaner and sometimes windex to clean the top. I have replaced the knobs 3 times because I can no longer see the numbers. My current set is starting to go, not sure what if anything can be done, getting tired of replacing knobs! There is also a white residue on the burner, seems like its inside the glass though. I would not purchase this stove again due to these issues.

My 3rd LG double oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd LG double oven. Overall, I give it 4 stars. It has great versatility with all of the setting choices. The top oven is slightly not tall enough. The top rack position has a problem not allowing a rack to go all the way in without scratching the sides and it is slightly narrowed toward the back. The lower oven is great. LG is the only oven with a proofing setting for making bread rise, in this price range. The cooktop has multiple size heating elements for pots and frying pans. The stainless steel fronts are not stainless steel, they are a plastic and so are the knobs, somewhat difficult to keep clean, but the knobs slide off to clean. The cook top also needs frequent use of a cooktop cleaner. The inside of the ovens are a very shiny blue and easy to clean. I have had this oven for almost a month and I love the sounds it makes when reaching temperature and when the timer goes off.

Problem solved w/Dangerous knobs turning easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My great concern over the fact that the knobs are easily turned on - even accidentally by a child or dog - was solved. With no help from LG on the matter I decided to look for a solution - I did not want ugly baby proof plastic covers - which was a solution I saw on line - So I used common metal washers - about 1/8" thick and put it on the metal pin between the knob and the stove. The knob DOES NOT TURN !!! Problem Solved!!!

Ease of use

I was looking for electric range with a glass top in the controls in the front now that I have it I find I lean into the controls and turn them on by accident the glass top is harder to clean than I expected other than that I'm happy with my oven it was scratched on delivery by subcontractor but algae is giving me a partial refund for the damage
