AnswersI'm right there with JP and Mac. Sure it will count down, but I don't really need the light, vent, and turntable running when I'm just trying to use it as a timer. LG's Live Chat isn't readily able to help me with the issue either.

AnswersAlthough this particular model has lots of features-the one feature it does not have is the ability to turn the turntable off for square dishes. I'd suggest just putting the dish on the metal rack that is provided with your microwave.

We bought this microwave about 2 years ago. After just a year the door of the microwave developed a small crack. We don’t open it or close it aggressively, however the crack became bigger. After a few months it cracked to the point that a big piece of plastic broke off. It’s a shame because we really love this microwave. A month later and the crack only got worse, resulting in the door being in terrible shape.
Would love to know if there’s a way to have someone come look at it. Is it possible to purchase solely a new door? We just bought this microwave and don’t want to have to replace it.

This was a birthday present . We opened box and the roller arm and glass plate were broken but microwave itself was perfect. Looks lovely installed. I called customer service and they promptly placed warranty claim for me replacing the broken parts. They took care of me and my microwave is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just installed this microwave this morning and so far it works good. The two drawbacks are the black interior which makes it very hard to see. The bulb isn't very bright due to the interior color. Also I cannot heat up a coffee cup on the rotating tray with the rack installed. The rack is too low so it is in the wayThis is why I could only give four stars.
