This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Over The Range Microwave Oven from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- Hardwiring will not be done. A dedicated 110V electric outlet must be directly above the unit

Great microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this months ago and am so happy with it. Things cook so fast and with the adjustable heat setting it perfect. Also one of the marvelous feathers is the extendable vent I have a gas range and this vent protects my microwave from the heat produced and remove the odor quickly from my house.

Great microwave bad handle
I've had this unit for 5 years, it is above my stove and when the stove is on it heats up the handle alot n now it's so discolored I have to replace it.

Extendable fan works well!

I use the fan and over head light the most . My prior microwave broke and I could look for a quieter and stronger fan. This microwave has a stronger and quieter fan with a Turbo fan setting. I am thrilled with a feature that extends the fan function to the front burners. And the black stainless steel color worked for me as black was not a color option

Over range microwave with ExtendaVent 2.0

The ExtendaVent 2.0 offers improved ventilation over our previous unit. Addition to the spacious inside the removable rack is very helpful not to mention the easy-clean function. Beautiful Microwave

It is a beautiful product and matches our other LG products perfectly. We love all of the settings and it is very easy to use. The only problem for me is the settings are located on the bottom, so it is hard to see food cooking in the bottom tray unless you are tall. But nothing that I can't live with.

Love the ExtendaVent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much better than the typical OTR microwave. Has a more powerful 400 CFM fan (most have 300 CFM) and the ExtendaVent is a great feature. These two features help suck the fumes and grease away from your range top and out of the kitchen. No more greasy cabinets above my range!
Also, I love my LG range. I use it almost daily to either griddle or use the fabulous convection roast oven. Had it for 5 years.

Beautiful microwave (but get a reputable installer)
1) The installers Home Depot hired left a mess, and after I pointed it out, they did nothing and just left. We keep our stovetop and kitchen clean. They also tracked in debris from outside and left the floor a mess
2) Home Depot charged $140 for the install and we were originally told it would take an hour with 2 installers -- There were in fact two guys here, One did the "1 hour "install in 15 minutes, and told me the install is very easy; not an hour job, but more like a 15 minute job, while the other guy just watched.
3)The point of buying this particular (expensive at $549.00 or $389.00 at L---s) LG (LMHM2237ST) w/Extendavent 2.0 is to suck the smoke and cooking smells out of your kitchen to the outside OTHERWISE, save your $ and buy a cheaper model that isn't designed to suck the cooking smells and vapors to an outside vent!
4 ) Our kitchen has a vent in the cabinet above the cooktop that is designed to route the exhaust vapors & smoke up through a pipe up and out of the house through an exhaust port on the side of the house, SO I was really disturbed when I turned on the exhaust fan on the new microwave and found that it blew the exhaust air right into my face* -- the installer had not installed it to connect to the built in vent ducting that runs to the outside. *see ribbon blowing horizontally in the breeze in photo when exhaust fan is on, and drooping when it’s off.
