Are you referring to the front leveling legs on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 23.5 in. W 10.1 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in Platinum Silver with Reversible Door, Model # LBNC10551V? The leveling legs are necessary for leveling the refrigerator. Removing them means that you refrigerator will not be level and proper leveling ensures efficient operation of the refrigerator. A leveled refrigerator prevents air leakage which may cause frost buildup around the ice maker and freezer fans. Leveling the refrigerator also prevents it from vibrating...^IFV
The stock photo is not the same finish as customer photos and it is not because customer's aren't professional photographers. There doesn't have to be a "conspiracy" for a global company to be desynchronized between stock images and actual product delivery. That's just global capitalism. Thanks for the gas light, though! Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in Platinum Silver with Reversible Door, Model # LBNC10551V in accordance with NEMA requirements is not available in the product's specifications nor in its owner's manual and our Customer Support will need to check the engineering notes or service manuals for the product for the information. Unless someone has disassembled the refrigerator to see what is stamped on the motor, regrettably, there is no other way to retrieve the requested information...^IFV
