I researched dishwashers for many months before finally purchasing my LG and I couldn’t be happier! The black stainless is gorgeous and definitely print-proof. I love the features and that I get a notification on my iPhone when the cycle is complete. At first I did not want to look at dishwashers with top controls, but the handy light on the front that lets you know when the machine is running means that no one opens it during the middle of a cycle! We also installed ourselves and manual was clear and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very quiet, almost can't hear it running! Fingerprint and smudge proof which is awesome for a family with kids!!

This unit seems to be of high quality materials. It does a great job of getting the dishes clean and is easy to use and load. We miss that this unit does not have the glass holding clips on the top rack as our last DW did. So we have to make sure placement is correct to avoid plastic cups falling over. Easy to instal. I really like the rear leg adjustment. Once you slide the DW unit in you never have to take it out & adjust the back legs, there is a screw in front that you turn & it turns the rear leg up & down, genius! The App is terrible and useless except to tell you when the DW Cycle is done. Made in Korea, disappointing.

This is the nicest dishwasher I have ever installed. The stainless steel finish is excellent. Looks great and no finger prints. It has a great storage capacity. The upper quad-rack takes care of those odd fitting utensils. It is also deeper than some of my previous dishwashers. I also like the location of the operating controls. It is also very quite. The dishes came out very clean. I'm quite satisfied. Installation was a little more of a chore because this was a new installation where there was no unit previously.

I have been using this dishwasher now for about a week. This unit cleans like no machine I have ever had before. I still have yet to see any residual stains or areas the washer missed. I first started the unit and I Did a double take. I did not think it was running since it was so quiet. It is unbelievably quiet. The cycles and options give you plenty of choices for cleaning your items. The two rack, one tray work level options are nice. I did however run into an issue with the top rack. This rack is adjustable, height wise. When the rack is is the lowest position, when fully closed, it will slide into the back wall receiver with no issue. When the rack is in either of the two other upper positions, when you fully close the rack, you need to give it an extra nudge to seat it into the back wall receiver. Another thing I noticed is that you can easily misadjust the rack height. It is easy to set the rack at the #1 position on one side and the #2 position on the other side. I wish they designed the rack height adjustment feature with one control feature. One lever or dial could adjust both sides at the same time and not create issues. To be honest, this height adjustment feature is something I probably won’t use very much. The plastic hardware seems a bit on the cheap side and I am concerned about it’s ability to hold up over time. While we are on the subject of plastic, the lock has plastic components. You can hear it when you close the unit. I know, most things now are made of plastic. The thing is, when you close the door and hear that plastic click, it does not give one an impression that this is a solid made sturdy product. We will see how this stands up over time. This dishwasher does clean dirty dishes better than any washer I have ever owned. Only time will tell if it will be durable enough. If a friend was looking for a dishwasher that functions well, I would recommend this product.

The absolute best part of this dishwasher (besides washing dishes) is the printproof finish. If you have kids this is a must. Our 1 year old has his hands on everything, well this is one appliance that wont need constant attention. Also, our other two appliances are stainless GE models, and this stainless finish on this matched those perfectly. The HD installation team was in and out in less than an hour, they had everything running properly, and the installation looks professional (definitely better than my job on the old one). This washer has more features than most people will ever use, too many really, but it's nice to have options. I personally like the one that will give everything a little rinse so you can wait to run the wash cycle. And the top drawer for silverware is a great feature that the old ones don't have. My wife's only complaint is the bottom and middle rolling drawers don't roll out as far as our old washer did. Obviously not a huge deal but just something to think about.

This dishwasher is so quiet, I had to put my ear right next to it to see if it was actually working. It's just my wife & I at home, at this time in our lives, not to mention our 5 loved dogs, so it takes about a week to fill the dishwasher with enough items to wash a load. This dishwasher has 3 rollout racks. The top one is for silverware. The middle one is for bowls, cups glasses, etc. The third rack is for dishes, silverware basket, pots, etc. All three racks are removable. The middle rack is adjustable up, or down, which helped when I put a large pot on the lowest rack. Even though this dishwasher fits into the same space as my old dishwasher, this new genious design has made it possible to hold many more dishes, cups, silverware, etc. I always had a problem with utensils nesting in the silverware basket, but this new washer has two ways to wash them. The first is a separate silverware rack that rolls out for easy access. I then placed each piece of silverware in it's own slot. I also used this relatively flat rack, to place other items in, ie: hamburger press, tongs, spatula, etc. The second way to wash silverware is in the silverware basket, that sits in the lower dish rack. It also has a new design so each piece of silverware is separated from the rest. The middle rack holds bowls, cups, glasses & has small tilt down shelves on the back of the sides, that held small glasses & cups, making better use of the space. It also has tines that can be laid down, or tilted up for items that need more flat space, or separation. The bottom rack is for dishes, pots, large containers & the silverware basket. It also has tines that can be laid down, or tilted back up to accommodate different size items. The silverware basket is removable permitting even more room for items. The control panel includes numerous ways to wash, ie: "Auto", "Heavy", "Delicate", "Normal", etc., plus many other features including: "Efficiency" & "Performance" options. The first load I washed I used "Auto" cycle. The complete wash cycle took 3 hours 14 min. The amount of time a wash cycle takes is determined upon what performance options I chose. The wash cycle I chose, could have taken as little as 89 min. to as much as 217 min. Everything was washed spotlessly clean. The owners manual was easy to understand & included large graphics detailing everything you may have a question about. I was able to hook up this washer to my plumbing using one of a variety of fittings & adapters, included. Also included was a flexible steel water hose & AC wire cord. The washer's Stainless Steel interior & front panel makes a clean beautiful appearance. This is a highest quality dishwasher & the best one we have ever owned.

I am so in love with my LG LDT68099SS dishwasher! It is super quiet and cleans everything perfect, the first wash, and it leaves no spots or residue. I don't have to wash, or even rinse, my dishes before loading my dishwasher. I just scrape any remaining food off and they're ready to load. The beautiful stainless steel exterior is fingerprint resistant. It's the perfect dishwasher for this busy mom. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Purchased this for my kitchen remodel. So quiet you don't know its on. I have to double check sometimes to make sure its running.

The placement of tines, particularly in the top rack is very poor and doesn't allow me to fit all my dishes, especially small ones, inside. Also, flatware is always wet after a cycle of more than two hours! Even adding the "extra dry" does not completely solve the problem. I think this is a poorly designed dishwasher. However, glassware comes out sparkling, which I do like.
