Great refrigerator
This is actually our third refrigerator in 13 years. We've had a Samsung and a Kenmore both which lasted a little over 5 years. We had this frigerator for 5 months and have been absolutely pleased. Love the fact that a lot of you condiments can go into the door which frees up your shelf space inside the refrigerator. The temperature control and ice maker also have been working great no problems. The only thing I had to get used to was the design of the way the water is dispensed out of the door on this refrigerator. It's designed that way so you can fill large cups or pitchers.

It only lasted 4 years and 1 week
Terrible LG Refrigator. The freezer stopped working today 09/09/2020 at 6:30pm and all my meat, ice cream and frozen food are starting to go to waste. I just looked on the reviews and happens that this refrigerator’s compressor or condenser only lasts a few years. Very dissapointed, sad and stressed about all of this..

Buyer Beware Compressor and freezer has issues
Bought this Jan 2016, upon delivery freezer door was leaking. Delivery person ordered door right away. Through the year, notices icicles forming in ice bin. We had to take bin out, use a knife to pry the block of ice out. Had repaired 5 times, each time compressor. Even LG repair person came April 2019, still same problems. Not even 5 years and $2000 down the drain later and now all of my warranties are exhausted. We loved the concept (reach-in door) but the headache isnt worth it. Now we have to find another fridge and give away this glorified water dispencing fridge. Good luck. To the folks that gave great reviews, your the lucky ones.

Not a five star because it doesn't have true adjustable shelves & the water dispenser design is flawed. But the freezer is very spacious & also the fridge side. In regards to the reviews that point out a leaky water dispenser: I was nervous when I decided to buy & when it started to leak water droplets on day one - I cried. After looking at it we figured out the design flaw. The water dispenser sits on the exterior of the ice dispenser and therefore instinctively you push the button in for water. While this starts & stops the water, button sticks & doesn't completely release which leads to small droplets to form & leak. Our work around is to push from one of the bottom corners of the button instead of the center & push slightly downward instead of pushing in. We have not had any leaks since doing this. I really like the stainless black because it's not too shiny& gets no fingerprints

We love this refrigerator. It meets all expectations. It looks great, and is well organized inside. I like the outside cooler door as well as the roomy drawers inside the freezer and refrigerator. The shelves are easy to remove and clean. We've had the refrigerator about 3 weeks.
