Love it!!
Went from an old 3.3 cu. ft washer to this gorgeous 5.5cu.ft. LG washer. Love all the wash cycles and the steam options. Clothes never been so clean and now my sons are doing their own laundry. The wifi is awesome. I love that I can start my wash load from my phone while commuting home from work so that it’s done when I get home. The fresh steam cycle on the dryer is god sent! No more ironing in the morning. Simply throw in the machine and let it steam out the wrinkles while I’m getting ready. Highly recommend this pair. Super quite too

Drying In Style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy when I received my electric LG Dryer! The tub is massive! I finish drying my clothes quicker and I do less loads. There’s plenty of different settings to choose from. Light up panel with touch screen. WI - FI enabled so you can turn on or change the dryer settings from the convenience of your couch. My favorite part of this dryer is the 2 way opening of the door. One to easily load and the other to take out the clothes. Beautiful outside finish. I’m very pleased with my washer. My clothes is dried perfectly every time.

Love This LG!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned the matching washer first and then was able to get the dryer and I love them both! The dryer looks so sleek and streamlined and it has a plethora of options for drying different types of loads at a variety of temperatures. It's really nice and quiet, especially compared to my old dryer, and I have to admit that the little tune that it plays when the load finishes is cute :). It's nice that the filter is right inside the dryer door, making it easy to remove and clean, and I actually REALLY love the door to the dryer because it can either swing out to the side or open downward, just depending on preference. The overall dry time is quick, even for larger loads of bedding or towels, and I love the option of installing the LG app on my phone for additional features (although it's not necessary--just an added bonus). This (and the washer) has genuinely been my favorite acquisition for my home this year and I feel so spoiled by both of them. I had no idea how much I would fall in love with a laundry set but I'm thoroughly impressed with the overall performance. Would highly recommend!

Never knew I could love doing laundry so much. I will admit I never thought I needed a smart dryer that could talk to my phone, I was so wrong. Now my only regret is I didn't make the purchase sooner. I can be outside, upstairs, downstairs etc and never have to walk in my laundry room to see if my clothes are dry.

wow... what a crap job of drying. The sensor thinks clothes are dry... but the jeans are still damp. Settings are pointless when they all really are a sensor.my duct is straight and clean...

Great dryer but more polish needed.
I purchased this dryer as a replacement. It was after consulting consumer reports, and other online review services that I chose to go with this model.
Everything on the dryer works as expected except for configuring the WiFi connectivity. There are three methods for configuring the WiFi using the smart phone app. It was a hit and miss for me and not intuitive at all. The WiFi features are nice but at this point not a must have. The only feature of the WiFi that I find useful is when asking Alexa about the status of the dryer.
The steam feature is well worth the price, refreshing clothes without having to steam hang them or run them through another wash cycle when they are not dirty is a god send and a great saver of water.
The sensor for dryness is spot on, and does not over heat the dryer wasting precious engergy. An example of this is with other dryers the clothes are almost to hot to touch at the end of a cycle, and in this appliance they are warm.
