7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Black Steel Smart Electric Vented Dryer with Sensor Dry, TurboSteam and Wi-Fi Enabled

I have an LG washer that we picked up several months ago and have been really happy with its performance. We wanted to replace our dryer and getting a matching LG dryer was an absolute must. There’s really a bunch of great features here, but I’m going to mention our favorites. The large capacity is great and you can get a full load done without much effort. The sensor dry is amazing and makes finishing the laundry and making sure it’s all actually dry a big time saver. So far it’s done a great job at getting the clothes dry as they should be. The steam feature is also very cool, but we’re still trying to figure out the best settings and use for this, but it seems like it will work well. Wi-Fi is another great feature as it will send a notification to your phone when the drying cycle is done. Overall we’re completely happy we got this dryer and definitely recommend!

The LG Model # DLEX4500B 7.4 cu.ft. dryer is a good size dryer for a family. The electric model is easy to use with many features including steam. The LG ThinQ app makes it simple to know what the drey is doing, remote start the dryer, and get notifications for cycles. The dryer require a 220-volt/30-amp receptacle for operation. All the required connections are clearly identified for a quick connection. The dryer door is reversible for a custom for swing to meet your needs. The display panel is simple to use as well as the cycle knob for choosing your drink type. This dryer will take all types fo fabrics. The outlet required is an NEMA 10-30R 3-pole/3-wire receptacle. This dryer senses the moisture in the exhaust to determine the dry time required. It also senses the airflow in the duct to let you know if there are any duct restrictions to avoid a dangerous dryer fire. This unit has a stainless steel tub that is easy to keep clean. The unit does require a cold water connection for the steam feature so be certain that one is available in close proximity. The color is sleek and polished and looks great. The Home Depot delivery and installation team were professional, courteous, and cleaned up all debris. This dryer works great and performs as advertised. The only drawback was that a complete list of instructions were not included. You have to read them on the LG website. A QR code is provided for easy access to the LG website. The included abbreviated instructions were not clear and not written well. Other than that, this is a great product.

Avoid this dryer's "Energy Saver" mode if you live in a humid climate and/or you are used to your clothes being dried in under an hour. The control panel is a hot mess of dual-purpose buttons and incoherent groupings. If you can get past these obstacles, you might be rewarded with a dry load of clothing. In fact, you can simply use the "Manual" side of the control knob if you want to dry just like mama did. But for us kilowatt pinchers, the "AI" mode might be the best way to go. I did a load using the "AI" Sensor Dry mode and it worked well enough to use again. Haven't had an opportunity to use the TurboSteam mode yet. I am enjoying the ThinQ app although it doesn't come close to replacing the control panel.

This is a feature-rich dryer with bells and whistles that you'll actually use -- flow sense tells you if your ducts are getting clogged, wrinkle care keeps your clothes fluffed after the drying cycle has finished, the steam settings can sterilize bedding and toys or manage staticky clothes, the drum light makes it easy to see if you've left any orphan socks behind. Couple that with the fact that it's remarkable quiet, has a steel drum, dries about 20 percent faster than our old dryer, has plenty of space for blankets and comforters, and comes in an elegant black steel finish, and it more than justifies the price. I haven't even tried out the wifi connectivity yet, but it's there if you need to manage the unit remotely. And there is no need to be intimidated by the admittedly huge owner's manual. Probably 90 percent of the functionality can be accessed right from the lighted control panel. Can't speak to longevity yet, of course, but if this is anything like our other LG appliances, it will be trouble-free for a long time. Highly recommended.

Just got this so I’m still learning about the many features. Love that it has a stainless steel drum. The bright LED interior light makes it easy to make sure all items are out when you’re done. Love the wrinkle care feature. Large lint filter. I have an LG all in one washer dryer combo unit and I bought the stacking kit for this dryer. The all in one unit works great but that unit doesn’t get all the lint off some items and with the dryer I can dry two loads at the same time this is a great dryer. Also has an energy saver feature.

It's sleek looking, dries quickly and is really quiet (especially since our laundry room is between our two children's rooms). The ability of ThinQ app control/support makes it that much more convenient and I'm sure will be more handy as the machine tells me to perform maintenance on it down the line. The TurboSteam ability is also a great feature as I use it to freshen up dress shirts that I wear for short meetings. Overall, I'm more than pleased with this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] awesome electric clothes dryer. works great has a larger drum for big loads. it also has a stream feature to dry your clothes faster and wrinkle free. it has a great drum light to let you see everything in the drum. really nice dryer overall has all the cloth settings you need.

We've only had it for a couple of months, but so far it works well.

Purchased the washer dryer set. After doing 4 loads of laundry and only having it for a few days it now has to be replaced. I would not recommend getting this brand at all It seems as everytime i mention this brand to a service repair tech the answer is the same. To stay away from it in general.

A very excellent washing machine. Love the electronics. Clothes are much cleaner.
