A:  As with all our other gas range ovens, the LG STUDIO 6.3 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Gas Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection®, Model # LSSG3017ST is convertible for use on natural or LP gas. When using this range on LP gas, conversion must be made by a qualified LP installer before attempting to operate the range. It comes with an LP Nozzle Conversion Kit (5 x Cooktop nozzles and 2 x Oven nozzles) attached to the back of the unit...^Ivan

          Poor Quality, Poor Value
The range is horrible in almost every aspect. The stovetop burners light very poorly, sometime the electronic igniter clicks 20 or 30 times before the burner lights. Additionally, the burners have very poor adjustability and some of the burners can't be adjusted to lower settings for simmering while other burners can't be adjusted to higher settings for boiling water. The center griddle heats very unevenly, making it virtually unusable. And then there is the oven, which takes 40 minutes to preheat to 350 degrees. Other times the oven does not preheat at all and just gives the F9 error code on the front panel. Overall, I have been very disappointed with the quality most of my new LG appliances. I have always looked at LG as one of the better appliance companies, but after doing some research it appears that their quality is getting worse.

Impossible to read the control settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Studio gas range as well as the matching Studio microwave 3 years ago. This was one of the WORST purchases I ever made. While they were displayed in various dealer showrooms they were never plugged in. Much to our surprise there is no backlighting on any of settings making them impossible to read unless you bend down to the to see the microwave functions. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ATTRACTIVE BUT IMPRACTICAL APPLIANCES!!!!

As good as a Wolf or Viking Gas Range
I purchased the Studio Gas Range as a clearance item. The store is revamping the Kitchen vignettes. Clearance purchases are a challenge due to installation service and take away old appliance is not provided. Home Depot does deliver, but know they will dump the item on your front porch if you let them get away with it. I provided the installation and scheduled Load Up to take away the old LG gas range for $84.00. Still a bargain and worth the challenges. The Studio LG Gas range is awesome and showstopping handsome. Performs as well as any Wolf, Viking pro range for so much less cost. And I like the fact it has a warming drawer that most high end pro gas ranges do not have. Burners perform flawlessly powerful, and superb simmer feature all burners. Convection heats up unbelievable quickly and cooks evenly. The oven heats as high as 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Superb performer. Will probably not use the WiFi feature. I replaced a 2011 model top of the line all stainless LG Model LRG3097 Premium Free Standing Gas Range which was LGs high end model at the time. I literally wore the thing out. I could not pass up the clearance deal on the Big Boy Studio Range.

I bought this range in May and had the final unit installed in mid July. The delivery process was a nightmare, but this is not the fault of LG and I am not reviewing that here. Instead, I will focus on the product itself. The stove is a looker, lots of compliments. I was replacing an older "pro style" Kitchen Aid convection range that worked fine except the broiler stopped working. The look of the LG is better, with more substantial knobs and a clean look at the backsplash side. Performance: The cooktop puts out impressive heat on the primary burner and a pot of water comes to a boil quickly. I had to adjust my cooking because initially I burned a couple of things, underestimating the heat. I like that both high output burners are at the front, with smaller burners at the back. The surface is easy enough to clean, but the stainless is prone to scratching easily. This was mentioned in other reviews and so I am ultra careful about cleaning it and so far only a couple of minor scratches that do not detract from the stove. I have also used the center griddle a few times, for things like pancakes, french toast, and quesadillas. This burner is not as strong, which is fine, and I find I need to heat that griddle up for a while so that things cook more evenly (but even then, know that the center will be hotter than the front/back portions). The oven itself is quite large and I do like the blue color. There are more rack positions than my old oven. The oven heats quickly and the convection feature browns more evenly than my old Kitchen Aid did. For the old one, some cookies browned more quickly than others, but with this LG, it is nice and even, as it should be. As shipped, the oven temperature was lower than it should be. I tired a few recipes and did not like how they came out (if the oven is too cool, cookies will spread too much before setting). I ended up adjusting the temperature upward by 25 degrees and now it seems right. Maybe units vary, but know that you can easily calibrate to suit your needs. I have used the quick clean feature twice and have been underwhelmed. I didn't find it to be easy or effective. I have also used the self-cleaning feature twice and that works fine, at least on the short cycle (which is all I've used). The racks should not be left in the oven for self-clean and so those I have cleaned by hand (a copper Brillo type pad works well). I make pizzas and did use the oven's "pizza" setting and recommended rack position. That worked just fine, even though the temp is a bit lower than I would have chosen myself. Display: The display is attractive and I have no problem seeing it. However, I miss a keypad to enter time or temperature, which my old oven had. Having to repeatedly hit "+" or "-" is annoying, especially as it starts going in 10 minute increments and I have to back up and do it again. Not a deal breaker, but it seems there is enough space on the display for a keypad. There is only one oven light where two would have been better, but I can see inside ok. The viewing window is a nice size. The broiler works fine, although if the oven is too hot already (from cooking something else) the broiler element will not come on, which means I have to vent the oven first. Sometimes I just need a 2 minute high broiler to accomplish something (like brûlée). I really do like the warming drawer, which is something my old oven lacked. I have used it a few times and like that I don't have to stress about making sure all foods are done simultaneously, which isn't always possible. It is good for warming plates too. WiFi: Honestly I am not thrilled with this feature, although I do use it. Mostly it sends me messages to my phone telling me I need to clean the oven (I just cleaned it!). I am able to check the timer from another location and I can turn the oven off, which is possibly useful (not for baked goods, but something you are cooking low and slow). It seems like technology for technology-sake, rather than being truly useful, but perhaps that will change. Overall, despite the awful time getting this thing installed (HD eventually made it right, btw), I have been pleased with the oven and its performance.

                  Disappointing durability
We bought this a year ago and while the performance of the unit is as well as the design is great, the durability is not acceptable. The unit scratches super easily despite being very careful and the lower parts of the burners stain and cannot be cleaned. Same with the oven, cleaning it is very difficult. This unit already looks worse after one year than the 10+ year old unit it replaced. I would give it back even for only a 50% refund if I could at this point.

Almost in love with the stove
I bought the stove after my remodel had it installed I love the look and the gas burners only one problem the door to my oven will not close. I’ve had a service tech come out and take a look and has ordered new door hinges waiting for the repair to be completed. I hope that works because it took a lot of time to research the stove oven combo I wanted. Fingers crossed with the new door hinges my oven will work as well as I hope.

Igniter broke after only 3 years.
We bought this in 2019 and have been happy with it. However, the igniter on the bottom oven went out and it has taken quite some time to get it fixed. In fact, it’s still not working. Very disappointing after only 3 years. I may be reluctant to buy another LG stove.

                          My dream gas stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my LG studio gas range for 6 weeks and I’m so glad that I went high end in this purchase. First of all it’s totally stainless steel which makes it my focal point. I love that the middle rack slides out so I can check the progress of my baking. Burners are quick to heart up and one is warming burner, other is quick cook and rest are average . I just love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received 1 month ago. Oven features are what I expected. Several different options make this oven very versatile. From regular bake, to convection bake, to the pizza option. Preheats fast and lets you know when its ready. All burners work fine and the front right main burner heats fast for searing and wok cooking.
