The Liberty Basics Retractable Hose Reel lets you easily retract your hose. A short pull on the hose releases the lock and the hose is drawn into the box. The integrated steel spring provides even, powerful retraction.

A: No. Due to the return spring inside the hose is not replaceable as stated by manufacture. Might be repairable with crimp style couplings on any place that could be pulled from unit.

Good Overall

Easy to install and works well overall but there’s only about 1/2” worth of thread on the end of the hose with nothing to grip when you want to disconnect it from a spray-nozzle etc. and of course it rotates freely. You better like whatever you attach to it the first time and hope it doesn’t leak or buy a male/female adapter like we did so that you can swap your attachment out. Other than that, good product so far!

Specs say 1/2" hose. But the brass end male has a 1/4" opening. So the water flow is minimal at best.
