Is this unit parallel ready and if not why you don’t seem to mention it in your description and specs

All generators of this size are parallel ready. You simply buy two generators and the parallel kit. But I would stay away from this brand. It is Chinese junk and the only place to get it repaired is Northern Tool. I bought one and it lasted about 2 months using it occasionally. It sat at Northern Tool for nearly 3 months and then crashed again within 6 months. I tossed it and bought a Honda. I've had it for over 5 years and it still runs perfectly.

Good Morning.... The 7000ier is pump feed system. Being its fuel injected it takes 40+ lbs of pressure to fire the injectors off. As far as having a remote fuel supply, That's a tough one. You would need a transfer system to get the fuel to transfer or defeat the internal tank and move the fuel pump feed to the 14 gal tank. As far as the AC load goes... I have a 15k AC unit on my trailer Running it uses 12 to 14 amps or around 1600 watts. But the start current is the killer. Each AC is different but on mine it close to 60 amps or 7200 watts. The genset will handle that but other loads may cause it to overload if the AC comes on. A hard start capacitor on the AC will help on the start loads. Lastly... the next thing to be concerned with is getting the exhaust out away from the RV. If your keeping the Genset in a locker in the RV that has to be a factor or Carbon Monoxide poisoning will happen I hope this helps you out a bit... Ray C

Answer

I'm assuming you want to know the fuel consumption at this power rating. @ 1600 watts or 25 % this genset will run close to 12 hours on a tank. @ 3200 watts (50%) on mine it will run around 8 to 9 hours. There are a few variables with start current that will affect the fuel usage. I've had my EFI 7000 for close to 5 years. It has never skipped a beat . I did have a starter drive fail on the 3rd year and Lifan got one to me quickly and it has been running well since. I have just under 400 hrs of run time currently. and hope to get many more

Is the oil change inconvenient?

Asked by Jeff October 10, 2020
1
Answer

It Depends.... The factory gives you a pipe that screws into the oil fill plug. Then you tip the Genset on its side. The oil comes out into a pan. There is also a drain plug on the block but its next to impossible to get to.

What happened to the 5600 energy storm generator?

It's a piece of Chinese junk. Mine worked for 2 months and quit. No small engine shops will touch it because parts are impossible to get.

Is the warranty an unlimited three-year warranty for residential use? ...

Asked by Benny August 15, 2020

Answer

The warrany is residential use. If memory serves me for commercial use the warranty period is lessened a lot. FYI: bought one of these and it would not start right out of the crate. I had to fiddle with it to get it to run and once running it did put out power, I plugged in a drop light and let it run for about 20 minutes. Seemed like I was in business. The first time I actually tried to use it a few weeks later to power my RV it started right and but would not put out any AC power, all power outlets were checked, it was not a fuse, breaker, etc. I know quite a bit about such things and even had a small engine mechanic friend help me. We looked high and low for loose connections, no luck. I was so frustrated I took it back to HD for refund. I was actually very disappointed, this generator's specifications were perfect for my needs. The wattage should be sufficient to power my RV with A/C and other things using power.

Can i connect 2 of these with the LIFAN Parallel kit? And can i start one with the remote without starting the other one?

Just FYI I would not recommend buying this generator. I bought one a couple of years ago for my hunting cabin and it lasted about 50 hours of run time and then quit running. The only place that repairs them is Northern Tool and they took forever because of the difficulty getting parts from China.

Hard working and pretty, too
I have a hunting cabin that is off grid. Nothing beats waking up at 5:00 AM, sit up in bed, and hit the remote switch to start your day. No getting out in the cold wet morning. The coffee is brewing and I have hot water as needed. I am powering a small microwave, water pump, and coffee brewer along with a few lights all at the same time with no problems. She's a bit difficult to start at first, but runs great once it gets started. I like the energy saver button the runs much quieter when I am only using a small amount of power. The neighbor has a Honda 3000 that is a bit quiter, but it burns oil and has left us in the dark on occasion as it shut down due to low oil. I plan to build a container system next to the house to hard wire into the cabin since running the inverter on the deck has it too close to the windows. It will be hardly noticable once I get it a few feet from the cabin. So far, its been a great purchase.

a very good purchase
Was a very good purchase.I bought this generator to run my camper air and it does it well, plus runs the micro wave at the same time..I love the price, beats the Honda and the Yamaha. This is the 2nd one..Three of my friends bought one each and they feel the same as I do about mine. The best feature for us is the remote start ..We are happy campers now and we all need the air as we are over 70 yrs of age.Now we go camping in warm weather also...Fishing fools. This year has been so good because of the Lifan 3600..Thanks Homedepot...P A from ohio

Almost a honda at 1/3 the cost
I've used this unit for 2 outages already here with 38 hours runtime. I run a 7000 btu portable A/C unit and my 26 cf side by side fridge as well as a smaller 15 cf fridge with no issues. It does run right at 59db in eco mod. Oil change is easy. My kill-a-watt meter says it is running at 59.9 hz When both fridges are cold I remove them and plug in the chest freezer and neighbors fridge to help them out. I made a DIY ground clamp

lifan energy storm 4,100/3,000-wart inverter generator
I recently received my inverter generator and at first it was running rough , it kept surging. I saw a code show in on the screen and it was telling my there was an issue with a temp sensor, I opened up the side panel and saw that the temp sensor was unplugged and the vacuum hose that goes to the valve cover was unhooked. I fixed these 2 issues, maybe they were caused during shipping, but now it runs great and is very quiet especially for a generator with as much power out put as it has. So far I am very happy with my purchase.https://youtube.com/shorts/lFv-pKxgik4

Would not recommend to anyone. Huge disappointment form the second I opened the box. Taking back for a refund. First you opened the box and get no oil to go with the 1000 dollars you just spent .next I spent about 8 hours trying to charge a battery that doesn’t work and had to go spend 100 for a new one then this 4000 watts doesn’t even lower my ac unit.. but my buddies 3500 watt generator does without a issue at all. Instructions were crap. I would steer anyone I know away from it.

boat anchor
I purchased the Lifan EFi 4000 based on the electronic fuel injected carburetor to power my RV. Just filed warranty claim on my 3rd Lifan. 1st gen shorted out the onboard battery. 2nd Lifan ran at 85 DB. 3rd Lifan ran down the onboard battery until the battery shutdown. Keep a fully charged 2nd battery to replace run down battery #1 and then you can use gen. The running gen is supposed to maintain the charge on the battery. Gen also struggled to continuously output/service a 2000 watt load. Electronics failed on two. The engine started and ran. There are no local repair and/or authorize repair facility that can work on the electronics. You have to send it to Arkansas. At 142lb, you have to put the gen on a pallet and strap down. Now, the weight is 185 lbs. A 18 wheeler comes to your house and picks up and returns. Expensive, both ways!
