AnswerThank you for your inquiry regarding our product. This Wagon Wheel Chandelier Light can support up to Six 40-Watt E12 candelabra-base bulbs, should be bright enough to light the whole kitchen. The illumination might be a bit affected if you are using the cream-colored lampshades. Clear glass shades would be better. Hope this answers your question.

This was quite difficult to assemble since the screws were so small, they kept falling out. The directions were not very clear. I wish it was more solid wood, but at this price point, I guess it should be expected that the wood does not seem strong. It does look nice once it is hung up.

This chandelier is beautiful addition to our dining room. We installed a dimmer switch to control the brightness. Installation was a breeze after watching a few short videos online. We shopped around for the best price and found it at Home Depot.
