Q:Can a pull chain be added to the light once it is hard wired. I have no on or off switches in my home. So lights need to have a pull chain.

Hi there, sincerely sorry that this light fixture did not satisfy you. This track light kit uses 4 x E26 base max 40W bulbs, LED or Incandescent bulbs are compatible. You can choose high-lumens bulbs to improve their brightness. Hopes this answer could help you.

Also the brackets were not straight.

A little tinny but, for the price, a good product....
A little tinny but, for the price, a good product. It was installed in a sloped ceiling and I needed the individual lights to both swing and rotate to get on target. It doesn’t appear that these lights were intended to rotate in two planes and it took a wrench and some effort to break them loose. Once done they could be re-tightened to stay in place. 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs gave good lighting from a high ceiling.
