Loctite PL 510 Wood and Panel Adhesive is a heavy-duty, premium-quality adhesive designed for bonding all types of wood. Our water-based adhesive creates durable bonds with wet, frozen, and treated lumber, and it can bridge minor gaps between irregular surfaces. This versatile construction adhesive even helps reduce squeaks and other sound transmissions. Loctite Wood and Panel Adhesive provides an environmentally friendly alternative to other harsh chemical adhesives since it is non-flammable and doesn't emit any strong solvent odors. A:  Thank you for the question. The Loctite PL Wood adhesive is not really sandable and will more than likely clog the sanding materials used in the process.

    A:  Thank you for the question. The Loctite PL Wood Adhesive is a latex, water-based product. Gluing plastic to wood will depend upon the nature or scope of the project and what the composition of the plastic is. It is recommended that you make an adhesion test prior to starting the project to determine suitable and acceptable results or look at an alternative product such as the PL Premium MAX possibly.

      A:  Thank you for the question. The Loctite PL Wood paneling Adhesive is a latex, water-based adhesive. If the drywall compound skim coat you are referring to is not primed beforehand this adhesive will not bond. Keep in mind, regardless of what type of adhesive may be used, the adhesive bond will only be as good as the primer is to the skim coat so there are no guarantees of pyromancy in this situation.

        A:  Thank you for the question. Construction adhesive are not stainable but they can be painted when fully cured , if exposed, with a latex base primer or paint.

            Thank you for your feedback. This is a latex, water-based product so this is not characteristic of the product when used. Sounds like the product may have been old product or possibly frozen at some point in time.
