AnswerThe kit is more like a brass pipe connection that connects the water supply hoses to the plumbing. You will need to open the concrete to install the connector. AnswerThis faucet does not have a temperature limiter. The faucet has a ceramic cartridge instead of a mixing valve.
Is the rough in kit able to be used with a slab foundation?

AnswerThe kit most likely will not work with a slab foundation unless there is enough space around the base in order to hook up the supply hoses.

AnswerThis tub filler does not need a rough-in valve. The mixing valve is built into the body of the tub filler.

The manifold connection point cannot be utilized because the hoses were not long enough. Plus the fittings would not easily adapt to a common 1/2" compression fitting so developing a fix was very difficult. This is a horrible design.

I was really impressed with this faucet. The parts are all metal, which was important to me, and the finish (I got brushed nickel) was smooth/good. It's simple to put together, I recommend that when you install the cap that covers the ground bolts that you lick/wet the inside diameter with the O ring so you don't unseat it, and just push very slowly.
No complaints about it so far, feels stable and mounted to the floor pretty sturdily.

A high quality addition to our beautiful new bathroom. Installation was easy and the materials are of the highest quality and looks great with our new designer soaking tub. A bit pricey but well worth the money.
