Self setting time using WWVB radio frequency, your clock will be the most accurate and will automatically switch to/from Daylight savings time. I ordered two of these clocks at the same time. The display is large and easy to read. One of the two clocks I received had a defective power cord with too-short a plug (that goes into the back of the clock) - bad quality control. I tried to use an alternative transformer and wound up using the wrong kind with too much voltage, thus burning out the clock. The other one works fine and had the proper size of transformer plug. I originally hoped I could read UTC time with this clock but it only allows USA time zones. I gave it to my senior citizen father since it auto-sets and is easy to use.

Even on lowest setting, the readout is very bright blue, lighting up my bedroom. Also, you must choose your time zone based on the numbers 1-4, so it took a couple of nights to figure out what number represented my time zone. I would set the clock before bed, and get up with the clock time representing a different time zone.

Wish there was an even lower brightness setting. Even on low, it brightens the room, so I have to aim it slightly away from where I would look from the bed.

It didn't work. The correct atomic time never found the clock, so it was continually incorrect. Even when I put the correct time on the clock, it would go to a different time that was incorrect. I took it back to the store, the employee never asked why it was being returned. It told him why after I waited to see if he would ask. He did not enter anything into the computer when I told him, so I am guessing that it's Home Depot's policy not to ask, but he spoke to a co-worker the whole time he was waiting on me. Very rude.

I had no problems with this clock but my wife...
I had no problems with this clock but my wife could not read the display because there was too little contrast between the blue of the numbers and the black backround. This might be OK for a bedside location, but in a lighted room environment it could be a problem for anyone.
