Hello, we appreciate your feedback and hope you are enjoying your new La Rochere Napoleon Bee bowls. La Rochere pieces are renowned for their molding process which creates their iconic seam. This is the mark left by opening the mold in which the glass is pressed. It is a characteristic of traditional French pressed machine glass. Some pieces have a more prominent seam than others, but it is a trademark of La Rochere glass. I hope this is helpful. Thank you!

These La Roche Bee Bowls are fantastic! They are beautifully made with the “Bee” on the sides of them. My wife and I enjoy using them with all sorts of food items. They are well made with thick glass. I place them in the dishwasher and the microwave with no problems!
