Product Details

Aqua-Proof is a rubberized liquid membrane designed to prime and waterproof many types of surfaces. This coating provides a monolithic cover developed for floors, walls, roofs and below-grade surfaces. It is designed for many waterproofing applications on concrete, metal, wood, asphalt membranes, polyurethane, EPDM and TPO surfaces. It applies blue and turns black after the product dries.
  • May be applied with roller, brush, squeegee or sprayer
  • Covers approximately 80 sq. ft. per gallon (400 sq. ft. per pail)
  • For previously coated roofs, concrete/masonry, metal, rubberized asphalt, rubberized mastic, trailers, RVs, and wood
  • Dry to touch: 45 minutes; Dry to recoat: 24 hours

A:  Hi Bell2017, yes you can use the Lanco Aqua-Proof 5 Gal. Black Rubberized Roof Primer on plywood and then use the GAF self stick rolled roofing cap sheet on top.

    A:  Hi Deay , the Lanco Aqua-Proof would not have any effects on the sun heat, as it has to be top coated. So depends on what you use to cover the Aqua-Proof is what will make the roof cooler. Aqua-Proof cannot be exposed directly to the sun for more than 2 weeks otherwise it will crack.

      A:  Hi Djib, the Lanco Aqua-Proof is designed as a water proofer in any temperature. Remember that it has to be top coated.

        A:  Hi Roderick, no the Lanco Aqua-Proof Primer only comes in black, and anyways it always has to have a top coat of any kind, but it cannot be exposed.
