Product Details

Aqua-Proof Prep is a rubberized liquid membrane designed to patch and waterproof many types of surfaces. Its multi-use nature makes it well-suited for a wide variety of applications where a waterproofing solution is needed. Some solutions include repairing cracks and leaks, sealing joints and flashings, waterproofing under tile and stone, and waterproofing a shower pan liner. This monolithic flexible membrane provides excellent performance when used as a base coat over existing surfaces. It also performs extremely well when continously immersed in water and can be applied on horizontal or vertical surfaces. May be used for interior and exterior residential or commercial applications. It applies and dries light blue.

Applied by brush, roller, trowel or spray.
Covers approximately 80 sq. ft. per gallon
For previously coated roofs, concrete/masonry, metal, rubberized asphalt, rubberized mastic, trailers, RVs, and wood
Dry to touch: 60 minutes

Q:Is Aqua-Proof Prep The exact same product as the 5 gallon size of Aqua-Proof Primer? If not, what's the difference? I'm going to use for sealing cracks along the roof gutter apron that is tucked under the old roofing material on an old 80' X 16' trailer.

A: Hi Gregg, the Lanco Aqua-Proof Prep has a multi use nature making it ideally suited for a wide variety of applications where a waterproofing solution is needed, such as: to repair cracks and leaks, seal joints and flashings, waterproof under tile and stone and as a waterproofing shower pan liner. On the other hand the Aqua-Proof™ has proven excellent as a main waterproof coating or as part of a roofing system over a variety of substrates like modified asphalt membranes, built-up roofs, polyurethane foam, concrete surfaces, bonded tar, granulated shingles EPDM and TPO. Can be used as a waterproofing system in planters or below grade applications.

Q:Flat roof on my home with section of pooling water was covered with lanco ultra. Has held up put still holding water. What should I do to fill a 15 SQFT area with depression of 3/8?? So many products not sure on what to buy.

A: Hi CaptDave, you have to fix the holding water as it should evaporate in 24 hours, otherwise you will have problems eventually. After you fix it then you can apply one coat of Aqua-Proof Primer and then 2 coats of the Lanco Coolguard.
