Landmaster Professional Grade Commercial Weed Control Fabric is well made, stops weeds without the use of chemicals, easy to handle, easy to cut or trim. Easy to install/ good instructions for ground prep. The fabric is strong and puncture resistant. It stabilizes soil behind retaining walls, prevents silt from clogging French drains, is ideal as an excellent soil separator under pavers, patios and sidewalks. The label does not state what the fabric is made of. It is There is a Full Refund Warranty on this product as well.

Silly puns aside, I've used a variety of landscape fabrics over the years (DIYer backyard landscaper) and I've made the mistake in the past of using cheap products with the results you'd expect. I've been using this material for my last couple of projects and I haven't been disappointed in the results thus far. Some of my experiences in general and with this product specifically are as follows: - I've seen a couple of comments stating that this product rips easily - I'm a big guy, but it's no easy task for me to rip this by hand - I think they must be commenting on another product by mistake. - This product works well, but it's not a miracle-worker. I've found that if I use it as the underlayment for a stone motif (see pictures), I get almost no weeds. However, if I use it for mulch, I will get more weeds (not a ton, but more). Basically the difference in weed volume (IMO) is that the additional weeds are growing on top of the fabric rather than coming up through the fabric due to mulch being more conducive to weed growth (retains moisture, more fertile). Weed roots are notorious for being able to find their way through almost any surface so I'm not going to ding the fabric for that. - I've found this product to be very durable - I have installations from a couple of years ago where the fabric has maintained its integrity and appears to have many years of life left in it. - Value - this is a tougher one as it's not cheap, but I guess the trade-off I've thought about is how much work it is to redo a landscape project. I still didn't rate it 5 stars on value as there may be products that work as well, but are cheaper. All in all, I've been very happy with it and will likely continue to use it in the future.

I ordered this product, everything fine so far. Then it arrived...opened and immediately saw is was grey not BLACK as in the photo on the product page. This will not work in sunny Phoenix, nor will it match the work i'm part way through. Called Cust serv and got the run around Blah blah correct model #, I said Wrong color, they said you have what you purchased. I said look at the product page the image is BLACK, I need Black!! So back where i started with hours of lost time in my search. So dont buy this if you need another colour other than GREY!

The weed barrier worked great as far as putting it down under the rock.

Bought this one for a small front yard project. Uneven thickness quite a some places where you can poke a hole with a finger so had to used double layer to cover up those places. Thickness is similar to other home product. I was expecting thicker than regular fabric and evenly made when title said a commercial grade. Overall it was a right size for the project I needed it for.

This product seemed heavy duty enough to not require a double layer. It handled light foot traffic and wheel barrow loads of stone without ripping. Only time will tell whether or not it is durable and keeps weeds out for any duration.

I bought this for weed control in my 40 foot by 80 foot garden. I didn't use it in the conventional manner by cutting holes in it and planting in the holes. I separated each strip by about a foot, weighted each one down with cattle panels, and put my plants in the gaps between the strips. This is working very well so far and I have the healthiest garden I've ever had. I believe that the fabric is tough enough to be used for a few years.

the fabric went down easy and very well maneuverable around objects. we will see how it holds up over the years
