The LASKO ELECTRIC CYCLONIC CERAMIC CONSOLE HEATER IN BLACK is a great addition to a chilly room. There is no assembly required and it comes with remote AND remote batteries (installation needed)! The unit features a power button, a digital temperature reading/setting display, high/low button, timed function buttons and +/- for heat settings. The timer feature can be programmed for 1-8 hour increments. The digital display is VERY bright and acts as a night light when room lights are turned off. There are also louvers on the front grill to adjust the vertical air flow as desired. I love that the intake filter is located on the front of this unit so it is easily vacuumed for cleaning and can be operated when placed flush against a wall out of the way. Actual measurements are 16" at front 11" at back x 7 1/2" deep x 23" tall.

I got this for my workshop in an unfinished basement… it gets cold down there in the winter. The unit is rated for 300 sq ft, but the manual states in the fine print that it’s intended as supplemental heat. Perhaps that means it’s less intended as a primary heat source and more intended to “take the chill off” in a partially heated room. My workshop is 300 sq ft and it takes an hour plus to get the space up a few degrees. Of course, if the heater is blowing directly on me while I sit at the work bench, it keeps me comfortable. The unit has a HIGH and LOW mode, which I would have expected to adjust the fan speed, but it only adjusts the temperature of the air coming out. Surprisingly, there is only one fan speed. There is also an Auto Temperature Control which works well. With AUTO mode, you set a temperature and the heater runs until the surrounding temperature reaches two degrees above the set temperature and then turns off. Once the room temperature drops one degree below the set temperature, it comes back on. Regarding noise level, this heater isn’t quieter than other heaters I’ve owned; furthermore, it emits some dissonant low and high frequencies. There is also the occasional clicking of relays likely tied to the thermostat. While the noises don’t bother me, I’m aware of them. The remote control, which arrived with two AAA batteries, is a nice convenience, but the remote I received did not work. Perhaps it wasn’t properly paired with the unit or it’s another issue, but customer service was polite and responsive and will be sending me a new one. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this heater given the single fan speed, remote control issue, and the fact that it needs to run constantly to keep 300 square feet comfortable.

What a great heater. It is very sleek and modern looking and looks like a speaker or something but not like a heater. Very powerful and heat comes out at temperature immediately. It comes with instructions and a remote. Not heavy easy to move around. It is powerful so make sure your outlet can support it. No need to turn it on manually and then use the remote. This is totally remotely controlled.

I like the fact it's so light-weight also. I will definitely use this little jewel in my bathroom. I have the ceiling type heater and vent, and by the time the heat get to you while in the shower, it's cold and not heat. This heater has a remote control, timer and also has a switch on the left side that controls the louvers to direct the heat in an upward direction or downward. It provides 1500 watts of comforting heat, and it's an even heat. This heater is also a great space-saver. It can be mounted into a wall because the outer portion of the heater doesn't get hot. It's very light-weigh, which makes it so easy to move from room to room. It has two heat settings to choose from. You can set the electronic thermostat and operate the auto on / off timer. It also has an easy access filter, which is super nice when you need to clean it. This is such a nice heater and has a lot of power, and when you get it, it is already assembled. This is a great slimmer type heater that delivers good heat and has a few very usable features with a remote for easy control. It has 2 heat settings-High/low that run pretty quiet and the unit doesn’t vibrate or shake or makes any rattling noise like others I had. It has a clear and bright digital adjustable thermostat and a convenient 8hr timer. It works by drawing cool/unheated air from the bottom and expels heated air up top that has louvers to direct the heat upwards/downwards. The unit is very lightweight and has a carry handle notch in the back for easy portability. It gives off 1500watts of warm air and sitting in my garage during the early morning,this certainly kept me warm and toasty. It also has an overheat protection that will turn off the unit that can be reset by unplugging and re-plugging the heater. There is also an auto temperature control that heats up your room to your desired temperature and will stop/start depending if you go 2 degrees higher(will stop) or turn on(1 degree lower). Overall, a good heater with good features that should warm up any room.

The Lasko Electric Cyclonic Ceramic Heater is just what I needed to eliminate the chill in my kitchen. It has a slide control to adjust the direction of the heat. There is also a remote control, so there's no need to get up to make any adjustments to the heat. After the sun goes down, my kitchen gets colder and this heater helps tremendously with warming the space. I do craft projects quite often at night, using my kitchen table and now the area is nice and toasty. Wish I would have had this heater long ago! I love it and do recommend this product!

I have used Lasko 1500 watt heaters in the past, but this is the first time I've had one with a remote, and I love that feature. In Florida, sometimes winters don't require turning on the heat pump, but you may need to take the chill off the air in winter. This Lasko 23 in. Just in time! With the temperature dropping, this heater helped keep the room nice and warm. Just the size and look of it, I knew it was going to heat up any of my rooms easily. It comes with a remote, so I don't even have to leave the couch or bed to change the temp. It really is light weight that I can move it from room to room with ease. Great addition for the colder parts of the house.

It has an automatic shutoff should it tip over and comes with a simple remote, though I wish it had a place to store the remote when the heater is not being used
