Does this product work on a timer? Or will it stay on all night?

AnswersWish I could answer. It works off body heat, if I remember, so it wouldn’t need one. However, if you have a chewer, the cord won’t last even though the cord is supposed to be chewer friendly. Which is the reason I can’t remember for sure, it lasted maybe a week.
how long is the cord? does it have the wire wrapped feature to help prevent chewing damage? and ...

This heated bed is puppy approved! I have one 6 year old chihuahua and one puppy chihuahua, both of them love this heated bed. It's big enough for them to lay on it together. Both of them use the bed to stay warm, the older dog seems to like it for her joints. It came with a sherpa cover for a soft finish. My only complaint with this product is that it has a bulky cord. If I had to guess, the cord might be weatherproof for outside use. Our primary use is inside the house. We can get past the bulky cord. They enjoy being warm during these winter months! Vader is my 1 year ShiChi who loves to be outside and dig holes and chase squirrels and bark at everyone. we got him this electric heated outdoor mat to help keep I'm warm on particularly cold days. needless to say he love it! When it gets cold, my 15 year old labs arthritis acts up and he has a harder time waking and getting up. I especially dont like leaving him out on the concrete patio because it gets even colder than the grass and Im sure doesnt feel good. My brother has a retriever mix, which is a larger dog. I got the biggest size mat,and it is the perfect size for his dog. It is nice that this product exists,especially for outdoor pets. I can not rave enough about these heated beds. I have one for my dog and one for my cat and was so happy to have the opportunity to get it through Influenster. It heats up pretty quickly but at just the right temperature that your pet will love it especially during chilly months. It’s very durable and easy to spot clean.
