Product Details
The Legrand Wiremold 500 and 700 series raceway is ideal for surface mounting small amounts of electrical wiring or communication cables. Surface metal raceway allows you to add fixtures and outlets without disturbing the drywall, plaster or insulation in your home. It is also ideal for adding wire when you can't go into the wall, such as on concrete foundations or brick walls. Combine with other 500 or 700 series connectors, fittings, and channel to ensure you have the right customization for every project.

Worked great as expected to extend an existing gang box...
Worked great as expected to extend an existing gang box that was in the wall. I bought 2 1/4 inch screws to attach to the existing box, but I could have used a little longer ones since the box was further back in the wall.

Wanted to add a GFCI socket to a 1960s box...
Wanted to add a GFCI socket to a 1960s box but the socket is a tight fit. Mounted the socket in this surface mount box over the original box and it worked fine.
