Product Details

The compound pump is an integral part of the taping system as it is used to fill all of the tools with joint compound using either the gooseneck or filler. The long handle gives better leverage for easier loading of the tools and it is designed to fit into any standard bucket of joint compound. Level 5 pump comes with free filler. Fits in a standard 5 Gal. pail of pre-mixed compound for easy filling.
  • Corrosion resistant coated aircraft-grade aluminum resists job site damage and provides superior durability while prolonging the plunger life and reducing seal leakage
  • Urethane cup seal lasts 50% longer than traditional rubber seals

A:  I purchased this online through Home Depot website nearly two years ago with several other Level 5 items. I'm not a professional drywall person. The pump has worked very well the few times I used it. It is a bear to clean-up but that is probably true of all drywall compound pumps. Primarily for production work which I don't do. Level 5 drywall equipment is good quality and has worked well for me.

        pumps great easy to clean
        pump works really well, this is an easy clean version, meaning tube body seperate from plunger. for the DIYer, you have to thin your mud, you can't pump raw thick mud through this, it's not intended for that.

          Only problem with this pump is there is no Instructions on how to secure the nozzle for filling the box, still can't get it to stay without flopping around and coming out while trying to fil. I think at this point itll be easier to keep opening the box too fill
