Q:What color is the LED? The product description says white, but it incorrectly describes this as a Decora rocker switch, which it is not. The switches currently in my house glow orange.

Q:Single pole or double pole?
The main description of this item says "single pole." But then the 'product details' go on to describe a switch that can be used to turn a light off from two locations - in other words a DOUBLE POLE switch.

Lights up the dark!
I installed this at the light switch for my cellar door. Makes it so easy to know where the switch is when going into the cellar from the outside on a dark night.

Died after a few months of use.
Similar to a previous reviewer's comment, my switch failed after five months. The LED light part of the switch continued working, but my ceiling lights would not turn on. I spent all afternoon checking the wirings, light bulbs, fuses, searching the internet for solutions, to no avail. Giving up, I was about to pay hundreds of dollars for an electrician to come out on a Sunday. Then I thought I'd try and replace it with an old generic switch I happened to have on hand and the old switch worked!

EXCELLENT IDEA FOR DARK PLACES.
The "Leviton 15 Amp 120-Volt Toggle LED Illuminated Single-Pole Switch Residential Grade Grounding, Clear." Is very well designed, sturdily built with quality materials, excellent performance and great finish, free of sharp edges and burrs. easy to install and easy to maintain. A typical Leviton product.

Leviton lighted single pole switch
I use lighted switches throughout my home and cottage. This type of switch I use for dark halls, closets and bedroom's. Any place where I might need to locate a switch in the dark. I also use pilot light switches to verify power is on for various power loads such as furnaces, ell pumps and non-visible outside lighting. This switch is very easy to install. No neutral wire required.

Great switch at a great price
This switch has come down in price in the recent months. The soft illuminated back light is a great feature. I love night lights so that I can gently see my way in the dark of night. I also love this feature of being to see where light switches are. I hate fumbling around in the night and this feature eliminates that frustration. They are easy to install as any single pole light switch. Nothing special and extra is needed. A matching unbreakable cover plate is just a nice unexpected bonus feature.

Built in nightlight
The Leviton 15 Amp 120-Volt Toggle LED Illuminated Single-Pole Switch Residential Grade Grounding, Clear is a great idea for a dark room where its hard to find the switch or for when your coming home at night and looking for your light switch. This could also be a cool alternative to a nightlight in a kids bedroom or bathroom. The clear toggle switch is ok looking but I think a lightly white frosted switch might look better however it does the job that it is intended to do. The switch installs like any other switch and lights up when switched off. The light is not as bright as it looks in the picture included, it is more faint. I would definitely recommend this who needs a something like this.

Love these!
These are one of my favorite switches. I love using these for outside lights and basements and bathrooms. Because they light up, it's easy to see and easy to locate in the dark. They stay lit up even when they're turned off.These switches have a nice snap when you flip the switch. off. I like this because I know I've turned the switch off without looking. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Easy for anyone to install.

LIGHTED FEATURE DOES WHAT IS DESIRED.
I chose this outlet because I needed to be able to find the switch in the dark. From the main entrance to the building to the switch is approximately 25 feet and with no light whatsoever, I usually needed to carry a flashlight or prop the door open til I could get to the switch. I can now see the switch to turn it on. The only thing I would have done to improve it was make the light a little bit brighter.
