Description states light dimming is available? How its work?
Asked by CHR January 13, 2018Unfortunately, as others have pointed out. The picture in the ad and the multiple places in the description of this model that claim it can dim, are false. I just received an order of them and had been trying to figure out how to dim it (a feature I was looking for) and now I'm going to have to pull it out of the wall and install one that has the features this ad claimed. Seems deceptive to me.
Says I can change the color, but I see no color change kits available. When will these be available?

Asked by venkn May 9, 2017You can if you're home. If you want to control from anywhere you need either an IPad that stays in the house or 4th gen Apple TV to control remotely.
Can you control these away from home?
Asked by Oldtreker April 29, 2018Yes. You’ll need to designate an iPad or Apple TV as your HomeKit hub. This must be a device that will stay at home connected to your network. Once connected, you’ll be able to control everything in your HomeKit anywhere from your iPhone.

If the switch I am replacing is in a double or triple gang and the one I am replacing has no “neutral” wire, what do I do?
Asked by MimiJ February 19, 2018I replaced a switch in a triple gang, there was a neutral set of wires there were nutted together. I had to get a small length of neutral wire (white) tie it into the grouping and they into the switch.
Does this only work with an I-phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy smart phone.
Asked by JJ September 3, 2018This will work with home kit and Iphone only. This is specifically made to work with home kit (apple). There is same switch which will work with Z wave technology. Look for Decora Smart with Z-Wave Technology
Does this work with Amazon Ech/Alexa as well? A separate Wifi switch is made that's stated. Need both HomeKit and Alexa
Asked by Santel April 12, 2017It works with Apple HomeKit and Siri. If you want to use Amazon Echo or Google Alexa, you must purchase the Leviton switch for those protocols. You do not need a hub. You do need a wireless Network and the Leviton Decora Smart Home App to connect this switch. I had some difficulty pairing the switch with the Decora Smart Home App. I had to use the My Leviton App to register and connect to my Network but the App would not Pair with the switch. Had to go back to the Decora Smart Home App to pair the App to the switch. You must wire it to the Neutral and to the Ground along with the Hot and Load wires. I am very pleased with the switch performance. I Plan to install additional switches in the future.
Will this 15 amp switch support the use of LED lightbulbs in the ceiling light fixture?
Asked by yogaman November 14, 2017Not an electrician, but I can't see why not. It's not solid state, so no issues with voltage leak on LED lights.
