Very durable with a good price
I have used Leviton outlets for years and have been satisfied with the quality and durability of there product. I have come back to houses where we installed outlets 20 plus years back and have found the outlets still holding the plug firmly and no breaks in the plastic.

Poor quality & push in holes too small
I chose the Leviton receptacles (2) to replace the current Leviton in which the plugs would not stay secure. Upon attempting to insert the 12ga copper wires I found the holes were too small. They fit fine in the original. The holes had to be enlarged to accommodate. At least the plugs stay secure. Further the component mold for the back plate is either damaged or dirty. The length gauge was nearly unusable. Certainly not the quality product expected from Leviton. I would suggest you have a discussion with your sub-supplier.

Thank you for your purchase and review. We regret your dissatisfaction but the UL Standard for the termination you described has changed and permits a maximum size conductor of No. 14 AWG.
