Exceptional quality. The wall plate perfectly covers the 2 gang size wall plate. The plate also holds magnets very well. Its size makes it a nice addition for a wall where you would like to put something magnetic. I could see this being perfect for adding to a wall near an exit door and adding a magnetic clip to put notes on or to put on a shop wall to hang keys or some other small part from.

This review is for the Leviton 2-Gang C-Series Blank Wallplate Standard Size Magnetic Stainless Steel, Silver. It’s actually a brushed finish that makes it a bit more durable and less fingerprints than a smooth silver finish. What I do like is the stainless-steel look (in small doses-not appliances) in my kitchen. I’m using the stainless-steel covers for all of my electrical outlets, switches, etc. I’ve not been able to find a definite advantage for a magnetic vs. non-magnetic wall plate (either a blank one or those designed to cover switches or outlets), unless you want to use magnets for notes, etc. Actually the 2+ gang blank plates would work well for that purpose (notes or recipes . . .). I just like the look and the durability.

We recently renovated our older house and this was the perfect solution to old ugly plugs and switches that wasn't going to be used. It is a nice stainless steel wall plate. The plate has a smooth finish that can be wiped down very easily. It is very sturdy. It can also be painted if you wanted a different color. It comes with the screws to match that makes it a breeze to install.

This attractive wall-plate is ideal is ideal for covering standard two-gang outlet boxes or switch boxes that are no longer used or needed. Installation is a easy using the four screws that are included.
The brushed finish on the stainless wall-plate is attractive and should fit in with most decors. The stainless steel is magnetic, although this is not really needed by this product since this wall-plate has holes for screws.

This is a very high-quality faceplace that has an attractive appearance. The metal is of a relatively thick gauge and will not likely bend when installing (as is common with plastic covers). No burrs or overly sharp edges encountered. The finish is a nice stainless steel look, reminiscent of kitchen appliances: one does not likely need to paint these). Overall, decent cover. Also UL Listed for electrical applications.

Installation was very easy remove the screws from your original face plate and attach this one. The faceplate has a wonderful finish on it that looks like true stainless steel and is made of a nice heavy metal. The face plate is the exact same size as standard ones so it covers the hole exactly the same and the screws line up perfectly! Very happy to have this covering the old “blank” outlet in my kitchen. Absolutely love this faceplate!

Great for covering up old outlets and switches no longer needed. We had an old land line phone wall mount plate on our wall that was no longer being used and looked ugly like a neon sign on the wall. I used this plate to cover up the old opening without having to patch the drywall. It isn’t as big as the old phone jack plate so I will still need to touch up with paint, but it is definitely an ideal alternative to drywall work. I’m sure you could prime and paint it to match your decor if you wanted to do that. It is also magnetic so you could use it like that as well. Ours just happened to be next to our calendar so I can use it to remember appointments.

Attractive blank faceplate. I got this plate to finish off a junction box in a workshop. The brushed satin finish is a nice touch for a workshop, and being made of steel it should be quite durable. When you flex the plate with your hands, it hardly moves at all - clearly stout. The manufacturer description says "magnetic stainless steel". It is probably made from 400 series stainless, which should be quite corrosion resistant in a normal workshop, house, or outbuilding.

I’m not sure what to say about a wall plate cover. however if you need a stainless steel wall plate to match your stainless steel fixtures, appliances, or if you have a stainless steel backsplash then this is what you want to use. It is also magnetic. I’m not sure why you would need a magnetic wall plate but if you do this is the one you won’t want to use.

This wallplate doesn't scratch easily and looks especially nice in a room where stainless steel products are used.
