Glazed Porcelain Lamp Holder with Pull Chain and Outlet

Entire fixture basically shatters when attempting to remove the knockouts using the method in the instructions (screwdriver and small hammer). I even tried more softly on the second hole. Why are the holes knocked out for the standard box screw spacing. Worthless.

I needed to get a fixture that had an outlet for the Christmas lights I wanted to hang. This allowed me to have a porch light on AND plug in the decorative lights too.

I recently got a roommate for my three bed two bath home. The second bath is small and didn't have an outlet. We both get ready for work around the same time and have hair dryers and stuff that needs to be plugged in. I switched the light fixture in the second bath with this. This is only a temporary fix but it was cheap so I'm not complaining.

I have one of these in my main storage unit, it works great and I was able to install it without any issues. the ground for the outlet can ground out to the box that the unit sits in. it replaced a old broken Porcelain unit.

Junk. I bought a few of these to replace the old ones in my garage and in the attic. The inner holes are not punched out, and it doesn't matter how gently you try to punch them out, it cracks all the other porcelain. Then when tightening, no matter how gently you snug them up, it also cracks the porcelain. Find a different brand.

I bought two of these lights. One for a dark closet and another to replace a similar light in the garage that did not have a plug. I installed one in a closet that had no light at all. I fished and tied the light into the power line to the door bell located in the closet. I ran the light switch cord across the top of the closet and then down the opposite wall using a couple of eye hooks and finished it off with a baseball pull chain. I used a couple of rubber washers and inserted them into the eye hooks to keep the sound of the metal pull chain from making so much noise. In all it works great and the closet finally has a light. The pull chain works great but I just have to remember not to try and flipp for a swich and instead pull the chain. In the garage the plug on the light allowed me to run some (Southwire 50 ft. 14-2 Romex White NM-B with Gauge) around the ceiling and walls so I could install a (Legrand 4 USB/3-Outlet Charging Station) over my work bench. I covered the wiring from the Ceiling light with (Wiremold/Legrand 12 ft. Cordmate II Kit, White) for a nice look. The molding has adhesive on the back but I used (Loctite PL Premium 10 fl. oz. Polyurethane Construction Adhesive) to make sure it stayed in place. Pics included

The issue with this product was that i bought it for use on the ceiling but when installed, the string is touching the bulb

Just as stated and just what I needed

I wanted to replace the glitchy pull chain light in the attic and put in a smart bulb to activate it before heading up into attic. Regular bulb was just fine but the smart bulb would not even light up. I returned it and bought one that featured LED functionality.

Did what it should do. Easy install.
