Leviton has taken the CAT 5e commercial data connector and optimized it for residential use, giving you commercial-grade performance throughout your home network. Modular connector for Category 5e UTP structured cabling systems. Uses include high megabit applications such as Gigabit Ethernet and 622 Mbps ATM. The GigaMax Cat 5e UTP QuickPort Connector is designed to be used with any Category 5e UTP structured cabling system. The modular connector features a 1-piece narrow design that supports high port density in a small area and is ideal for use in residential, MDU and high-megabit applications.

This is a great product. I've used Leviton quick port for many years. The only issue I found this time and in the past, is that for some reason some quickports are just defective and do not conduct the signal on 1 or 2 of the leads. Nevertheless, I ordered an additional 4 quickports units and replaced the two that were bad and things worked great. I could have attempted to return the defective units, but it's just not worth the trouble - even for home use. So, if you're going to use this product, always order an extra pair just in case. It will be a time saver.
