Love them and honestly not even sure which direction they go, flat or up and down but I like the fact I can switch it up. Currently put them flat and like how it pulls the cabinet open under the vanity.

GARBAGE ALERT! These have multiple problems; 1) the threaded nut inserted in the handle has sloppy poor threads. All 20 I ordered were prone to cross threading. 2) The handle has no serrated edge at its base so it doesn't "bite" into the cabinet door/drawer. No matter how hard you try to tighten them, they don't sit firm and rotate with use. 3) You cant tighten them that hard or the weak nut inserted in the handle will break loose - as seen in these pictures. Should be discontinued. Should get my money back.

Looks Great Doesn't Function!
I just purchase this knob to upgrade my old knobs. As soon as I install the new knob the bar fell off in my hand. There a screw inside of the knob but it won't attached to the bar. I'm taking this back to the store! Don't buy, don't waste your MONEY!!!
