Q:My installer stated these handles have an almost builtin quality defect. It is "near" impossible to align these handles vertically. He/they suggest I pick a different design. My designer at home depot isn't aware of this built in design flaw. Help?

A:  They probably are eyeballing instead of using a template to get perfect results. I use what is called, Align right template

    A:  There is nothing wrong with them. I replaced the old handles in my bathroom and they’re perfect. Maybe your cabinet or drawer holes are crooked. Suggest using a level or a different handyman.

        A:  There was no defect I noted in over 50 handles. The alignment was easy with a drawer handle jig.

                Good now, hopefully for always
                For someone who has helped her dad growing up but is certainly no handyman, this took about 2 hours to put pull handles on all the kitchen drawers, which are apparently 3 different widths. Needs: drill with different size bits in case the handle is slightly crooked and you have to make one hole bigger to bring down one side slightly, ruler, measuring tape, level, pencil, magic eraser. Overall, I didn’t think it took as long as it did but that’s okay. I feel accomplished. Handles feel sturdy.
