Q:Would water being on the floor for less than 24 hours that cause swelling be covered in the warranty? I wasn't sure if they would consider that damage to the structural integrity of the flooring.
I plan to use it in a bathroom.

Beautiful floor
This flooring is gorgeous. My husband installed in kitchen and dining area. It turned out better than I could hope for. He did go through 2 new saw blades cutting the planks.
If you want a beautiful gray toned floor pick this. I had to order on-line as it is not stocked in store. We installed underlayment and it's super quiet.

Lifeproof laminate flooring a positive experience
With tongue joints it's easy to lay, has 24 hour water spot resistance and is thicker than expected. The grain and color are attractive, so now to see how it holds up over time. So far, happy with the product and the price.

Purchased this flooring to replace the carpeting we had throughout my entire house. We love it! Its beautiful, easy to clean, incredibly resistant to wear and the kids. It cleans easily too. Looks great! Plan on keeping it for many years. Oh yea, it looked easy to install. My contractor made very detailed cuts that give a very finished perfect look.

I couldn't decide between the luxury vinyl and laminate in the beginning. I chose this laminate due to the thickness and scratch resistance being superior to vinyl. Walking on 12mm feels much more solid than 8mm vinyl. Vinyl flexes and feels cheap, while laminate is very sturdy. The only downside is the water resistance vs water proof. They say this will be okay for 24 hours but I don't believe that. I submerged a sample from the store in a bucket of water for 24 hours and when I took it out, it was about 1/16" thicker than another sample from the store. After a day of drying, it was only about 1/32" thicker, but honestly, when is your floor going to be fully submerged in water for that long? If theres a flood, theres a good chance your house has major damage and then insurance will take care of the damage. The scratch resistance is really important with having a golden retriever and a 3 year old who drives and pushes everything across the floor. It holds up great to both. It only gets 4 stars because nothing in life is perfect, so I can't give it a 5 star review, but I'm 100% satisfied so far.

Flooring was/is much tougher than I thought. Be prepared for saw blade replacements. I went though 2 chop saw blades while installing 500sq ft- stuff's dense! Looks great, was lighter than I had hoped from pictures. Lays nicely, durable! Would recommend!
