- This product can be installed over radiant heat concrete subfloors. In-floor radiant components must be a minimum of ½ in. (13mm) below flooring and heating system should not allow floor surface temperature to exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius). Heating system should be operational for at least two weeks prior to installation to calibrate temperature settings. Flooring cannot be laid directly over radiant heating mats. Please consult with the radiant heat system manufacturer to ensure that the system is compatible with vinyl flooring.

What is the rigid core (e.g. SPC, WPC) of Lipian Hill Hickory made of?
Thanks for your question. The core of our Lifeproof planks is extruded vinyl so they're neither SPC nor WPC.
Can I stack pallets?

How large of a space can butler hickory cover without requiring transition molding?
Thanks for your question. Our Lifeproof planks must have a transition/t-molding if there is a linear run more than 100 ft in either direction (length or width.)
I read on another site that the rubber backing on area rugs will discolor Lifeproof LVP. What non-skid materials are safe to use under area rugs on Butler Hickory Lifeproof LVP?
Thanks for your question. Rubber and latex will discolor/yellow the wear layer. You can use anything but those. We haven't seen trouble with vinyl, polyester, PVC, polymer, felt, nylon, etc. I'm sure there are other options as well.
Do they make matching stair treads
Thanks for your question. Home Depot has outsourced all trim and molding but I do see a Clermont Elm tread cover by STEPSOLUTION. Please search homedepot.com for 'clermont elm' and any coordinating pieces should pull up.
Can this be installed in a 3-season room in the East Coast where the temperatures fluctuate?
Thanks for your question. While the product has a broad temperature range, we do recommend that it's climate controlled to perform it's best. Large or frequent temperature swings can cause excessive expansion and contraction that can damage the planks .
What is the STC rating for this hardwood floors?

This vinyl plank flooring comes with a pre-attached underlayment, so does that mean no additional underlayment is necessary? It's being installed over a concrete subfloor.
Do you guys have stair nose with the name hudspeth Maple ?
Thanks for your question. You can install this product directly on top of the concrete subfloor. Over concrete, you can also use a 6 mil poly moisture barrier or the Lifeproof underlayment if you'd like. Neither one is required though and it won't affect the warranty either way.
