Product Overview

Lifeproof waterproof hardwoods combine the value of real hardwoods with the performance that waterproof SPC flooring provides. The 6.5 in. wide plank, Lifeproof Seneca Lake Oak hardwood is reactive stained, achieving tone on tone colors that bring out the tannins and beautiful grains. Then, it is wire-brushed for a subtle distressed visual. 9-layers of low-gloss, polyurethane with aluminum oxide protect the real hardwood veneer to the core, so you can install this waterproof flooring throughout your home including, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and areas with moisture and humidity. The family and pet-friendly white oak hardwood flooring is dent and scratch-resistant. Lifeproof waterproof hardwoods are easy to care for with wet-mop cleaning. The click-lock construction with an attached anti-microbial pad makes installation DIY easy. And, this low VOC brown hardwood flooring is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Chunks are coming off
We've only had our floors for a few short months. There are slivers and larger chunks coming off all over. Not in high traffic areas. Not where furniture is rubbing on the floors. Just in random locations all over the place. When you spend thousands of dollars on getting new floors and this happens, it's absolutely maddening. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

    Poor, not what product claims
Click lock weak many times not holding. Extream care is needed to prevent chipping edges during assembly. Dents and chips easly. Wont use for balance of project.

After 9 months with this product, serious remorse
I chose the Biscayne Oak Engineered hardwood because it's a fabulous color! We installed ourselves and once we got the hang of the click assembly, it went fairly smooth. Now, after 9 months of having this flooring I'm severely disappointed. It is definitely NOT Lifeproof! Do Not buy this flooring if you have a family, dogs, kids or furniture. We've had to put felt on all our furniture and dining room chairs and our dogs (whose nails are well maintained) seem to scratch it so easily. The color was perfect and now it's starting to look like crap.

        Please don't buy this.
Fully dissatisfied. After install, so many black spots appeared on the floor. It doesn't look shiny. It looks cheap. Totally worthless. Can anyone plz help me, what should I do now? What is their 15 years warranty? How will they cover it? Can I replace it? I just wasted my money, Worthless.

          Beautiful flooring
We are very happy with the look and durability of these floors. We'll see just how durable they are once our two little ones start running around on the floors.

            Do not buy
This product feels fake & cheap. I purchased online and like the color, it is bubbling up in a spot where there has definitely not been spills and even if there were it is supposed to be waterproof. We would definitely NOT buy this again or reccomend it

              The color is amazing
I had the floors installed recently, they look amazing and they feel great. I used a lite steam cleaner mop on them with just pure steam to clean them. I very happy with the results.

Lifeproof engineered click hardwood flooring is a great product for the DIYer. I tested its claims to be dent and scratch resistant, and waterproof. My dog's nails do not scratch the flooring, and a screwdriver dropped point down on it left no mark. Water left on (and between) planks for 12 hours wiped off with no signs of damage. I recommend watching a YouTube video on installing click engineered hardwood flooring before installing this. The included instructions are good; it just helps to see it done. The main thing is to get the planks lined up against the wall with the expansion spacing, and perfectly aligned so that all additional planks can be securely clicked. My one concern about this flooring is that at 7mm (just over a quarter inch) it's not as thick as other engineered flooring products but its lifetime warranty from Home Depot is reassuring. The product is sold exclusively at Home Depot.

Disappointed, we just got our floors completed. Movers brought in furniture and already the floor is scratched in two different rooms. For the expensive price we paid for what we thought was top quality, we are very upset and disappointed.
