Thanks for your question. You should not install plastic under the planks if you have a wood subfloor. It's fine if your subfloor is concrete but with wood, it does more harm than good by trapping any crawl space moisture in the subfloor. The planks lock together tightly and can prevent moisture intrusion for a period of time but if any type of moisture is left on the planks, it can eventually seep through the seams. The acidity of the urine can also harm the wear layer if it sits too long.
Hi: you are correct. Cabinets are typically installed on the unfinished floor. That allows the cabinets to be independent of the flooring. Plus, if you ever replace the flooring, it is so much easier.
Thanks for your question. You'll need to use a pH neutral cleaner so if Fabuloso is pH neutral with no wax or polish, it should be fine to use. You can also use Zep Neutral Cleaner or OdoBan neutral cleaner.
Thank you for your question- No transitions are required unless installing over 100LF in any directions- If you would like cover the 1/4-inch expansion, you can use a piece of quarter round. Be sure not to attach the flooring though
Thanks for your question. You cannot use foam underlayment under this plank. The only underlayment product that's approved is Quic Prep. You can find it here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/QuicPrep-100-sq-ft-3-9-ft-x-25-7-ft-x-0-059-in-Universal-Underlayment-for-QuicTile-Vinyl-Plank-Laminate-Eng-Hardwood-A63710/312893539
Thanks for your question. The pallet is 48 x 48 x 42 and weighs 1368 lbs. Most stores will help you load but you'd need to check with your store to see exactly how much they can do.
I used a cork underlayment with a plastic 6 mil barrier (more for sound purposes) and haven't had any issues with it. It's been installed for over two years and continues to be an amazing upgrade to my house.
Thank you for your question- LifeProof™ is a floating floor and should be allowed to expand and contract freely. It must not be glued, nailed, or fastened to the subfloor in any way. It would void the warranty.
Thank you for your question- Lifeproof has a rigid Core. It is 100% waterproof for structural damage to the plank
