Checks EVERY Box
Even at full-price, this Scratched Stone is awesome! I used this for the flooring in my gut & remodel of my previously "That 70's Show" style Lake Superior view loft.This flooring goes together easily and clearly shows its durability when doing so. Dirt and scratches hide very well. In fact, with dogs and cats constantly present in the home, 2.5 years later I have yet to find a scratch in the flooring.The flooring looks great with my mixed style of building materials and decor. Can't go wrong
This floor is great. According to my contractor, this was the easiest floor he ever put down. He said this is the floor he is going to start recommending. Looks great, easy to install. Great choice.

Good look and easy to do
East to put together and looks good. It came out real nice in our downstairs back entry/mud room/ laundry room. Like the unusual look which I also think will hide dirt.
I am no pro. And found it straight forward. I had oscillating cutter which made it so much easier to make the cuts of doorjambs and the few planks needed around doors, vents etc.
Straight cuts at end of rows snapped easily. But get and oscillating tool or jamb cutter so it slides under door trim nicely.
A jig saw or oscillating tool is good for the plank cutouts when needed.

Easy to Install!!
It’s easy to install, to cut & WAY easier than laminate. It’s messy! It creates tiny particles when cutting and gets everywhere. The tongue and grove is flawed falls apart right out of the box! I did this by myself 46 woman You CAN do it!

It Takes Two
We ordered this floor from the local store and it was a challenge getting it on time but management made it right. My partner is a professional floor installer and we did this project together. I chose LifeProof Scratch Stone because it tolerates more heat than Pergo, does not emit poisons, does not require transition strips in doorways and doesnt show scratches and dirt from dogs and kids. It is a VERY distressed pattern, the store samples dont show this. It took us 4 days to install 700 square feet in 3 large areas.It is very messy to trim, but it does cut and snap accurately and easily. I went ahead of my installer and selected each board so as to vary and stagger the pattern. He did a great job and it turned out beautiful. I may have to change out some furniture to match this pattern but overall we are happy with it.

Look wise it is exactly what I wanted but the...
Look wise it is exactly what I wanted but the installation was really difficult because the installer said that nearly every piece with the exception of 1 or 2 boxes was broken at each end where it locks in. He showed me several pieces and it looked to all be in the same spot on all. Since the installation I can see a spot where this is a problem and may have to pull up and replace.
